Ummm...yeah...those are probably the second most awesome uniforms I've ever seen.  Second only to the regular ol' home blues and winged helmet of the University of Michigan.

Awesome.  This isn't like college football, where tradition is a big deal.  Minor league baseball is all about weird gimmicks to make fans forget that they're watching, for the most part, a bunch of no-names who won't amount to much.
