First team to make a true camo uniform (I'm talking head-to-toe) wins my allegiance.  Can you imagine hunting season?  I'd just be playing safety in the Pennsylvania backwoods chasing me down some deer!

And I thought the Maryland crash test dummie uniforms were the worst. I guess they can relax now...

Awesome.  This isn't like college football, where tradition is a big deal.  Minor league baseball is all about weird gimmicks to make fans forget that they're watching, for the most part, a bunch of no-names who won't amount to much.

These are fantastic! Just one more thing Toledo does well.

Two days (and about $600) in Toledo, OH:

Arrive early at the Toledo Farmer's Market, downtown:

Then, grab breakfast at BleakHouse Coffee:

http://www.bleakhousecoffee.com/

You're already downtown, so head west on Monroe and spend a couple hours at the TOledo Museum of Art. Have lunch in the cafe.

Now it's early afternoon, time for that day-game Mudhens first pitch. Head back down Monroe Street into downtown to 5/3rd Field, and grab yourself a Maumee Bay Brewing Broken Bat Ale, available only at 5/3rd.

Were the kids good all game? Walk (no need to drive) one block over and one block north on Summit Street to Imagination Station! You can kill the rest of the afternoon/evening here.

Stay the night DIRECTLY across the street at the Park Inn hotel

The next morning, you can have breakfast thereat the hotel, or you can head around the corner to Glass City Cafe if you had too many Broken Bat's, which is the best place for a morning hangover-cure breakfast.

Then spend the REST OF THE DAY at the Toledo Zoo. Yes, you can easily spend an entire day here.

Finish your trip with a dog at Tony Packo's, there's one pretty much right on your way to 75, 475 or 23, on your way out of town. An absolute must.

As a resident of Toledo I will save you all the trouble.. Just go to mud hens game, grab a beer at Maumee bay brew... Just not the buckeye beer. Right now I'm boycotting the zoo because the aquariums are closed for a year or 2.

Yeah but once they put those baby polar bears on exhibit....  I saw them last weekend and they are SUPER CUTE.  Also they have a HUGE MF crocodile they're going to be debuting soon.  They took him out of the wilds of australia because he was eating cows.  For real.
