OT: Uncle Jesse returns
so. Netflix just announced that they greenlit a Full House spinoff series called.......
Fuller House
The plot is virtually the same as the original series except the kids from that show are now obviously the adults taking care of their own children.
MGoJohnStamos makes his triumphant return.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that we won't see the Olsen twins.
which "limb" is that?
They should bring them back. Why not bring Jodie Sweetin back too? Danny could be taking care of his grandkids because his daughters are all burned out do-nothings living in his basement. That might be a little bit too realistic to really be entertaining though.
Actually, Stamos mentioned Sweetin's name as one who'd be back... he didn't seem to confident about the Olsen twins... but didn't completely dismiss it.
has a huge rack. I suppose it's too much to hope that this new show will give her an opportunity to show it off.
EDIT: pic added
Craig James Killed 5 Hookers.
and for that we thank you...
five fakes out of five.
combined net worth in the Billion with a B neighborhood. I don't imagine we'll ever see them singing for their supper again.
that Sweetin has the olsen twins in a headlock. . .
They have this look of perpetually getting the fuck scared out of them.
I got really excited that you were talking about a Dukes of Hazzard reboot...siiiigh.
That would make him about 150 years old now.
but moonshine is a hell of a preservative.
My immediate first thought, also. I guess growing up in Atlanta and religiously watching Dukes of Hazzard as a kid influenced me in some way. And no, I don't consider the movie version a worthy reboot.
But can't do it without the original Roscoe - may he RIP.
There was a small production company in Michigan that was considering an updated Dukes of Hazzard series and my best friend from high school had a good chance at being the new Roscoe P Coltrain. It never got off the ground, however...
The original Uncle Jesse or the original Boss Hog. Half the cast is now RIP!

It wasn't very good
For years, I have been wondering what the hell is wrong with anyone who is younger than I am. Now I know.
When I hear "Unlce Jessie" I think of a tough old Southern guy in overalls and Catherine Bach's legs. The younger crew thinks of John Stamos and Full House. No wonder they are all f'ed up.
(Relax, I'm kidding. Sort of.)
That show gives me cancer.
They're doing the same thing with this as they did with the spinoff of Boy Meets World, Girl Meets World.
They totally stole that title from Joe Adalian.
.@bart_smith How 'bout a super-quirky reboot of Full House from @BryanFuller -- FULLER HOUSE. It would be awesome.

The 3rd spinoff series when the children in Fuller House grow up will be called Hoarders.
Later it will be called "This Old House" about a guy (below) who comes in and murders everyone and then gut-rehabs the house.
Then it will become Amityville Horror when the next family moves in. This then leads into to the first episode of The Walking Dead, when you realize the house is Rick's house.
Then a fourth spinoff in a whole new direction (but same cast): Sheep Hoarders.
I'm just waiting for the very special episode where Uncle Joey meets his illegitimate son born of his one night stand with Alanis Morrisette.
and if they base an entire episode off of her song that is supposedly about him, that would be epic! Probably not Nickelodeon material, however...
It was the original in all the bad Nick Shows to follow...
iCarly, Victorious, Sam and Cat, etc...
Fuck them and their Gawd awful laugh track.
NOW GET OFF MY LAWN.
Uh... Full House was not a Nickelodeon show. It aired on ABC. Are you so young that you thought the reruns on Nick at Nite were Nickelodeon originals?
are still on Nick constantly, I think it is somewhat reasonable for a new generation to assume it to be a Nick show, it is on Nick nearly every other hour (I don't watch it but my son's fallback is Spongebob and that basically splits time with Full House on Nick)..
I guess I just ask Netflix, as a big fan of Orange is the New Black and Bloodline and really the entire Netlix endeavor, why, Netflix? Why?
Fuller House? Seriously? Why would they possibly green light this?
Is it going to have a laugh track? This has no chance to succeed. This is a brand-damaging decision.
It depends what way they go with it. Netflix has a whole kids focused side, which is bringing back new episodes of The Magic School Bus. If they mean for this to target that audience, it shouldn't have anything to do with the normal Netflix brand.

But never remember it on regular TV, so I associate it with Nick. I knew it was old since it was not in HD.
Full House is TGIF on ABC. TGIF was one of the few things on TV that I honestly miss.

Bad day at work and took it out on Nick, and the state of kids TV.
I had to put the foot down in the house on this crap...and the crap on Disney XD....Lab Rats, Dog with a Blog, Jessie, I didn't do it, Kickin it, and others I cannot remember the titles of but are constantly showing over and over.
The laugh track on these shows is the worst......The worst.
Those with Tween aged kids will understand my RAGE.
