OT- Game of Thrones S04E08 @ 9:00 PM: The Mountain and the Viper
In this corner we have the 6'8"(?) behemoth who impales people on his sword. This ruthless man put his own little brothers face to the fire. The one and only Mountain! In this corner we have the 5'11"(?) Dornish warrior and seeker of vengeance. This man loves sex almost as much as he likes killing Lannisters. The one and only Prince Obeyren! Let's get it on!!!!
Do you know why all the world hates a Lannister?
anyone got a stream?
Book it.
Do tell...
Please don't tell. Some of us are in the process of reading the books.
the book has been out for fourteen years. the statute of limitations on spoilers has long been past.
not to metion that parts of "A dance with dragons" have been spoiled for you by this past season's episodes.
Yep, and when she came out in all black... Dayum.
FUCK NO!
I cannot handle Tyrion being gone and I do not think it will happen
I found out anybody can die on this show.
Playing down to the level of your competition... Always finish your opponent when you have the chance.
Indeed. He placed seeking total vengeance over good enough vengeance/justice and his own life. Sucks
Yeah, Oberyn violated the #1 lesson from Horror Movie 101: Never assume the monster is dead until his head has been removed... or crushed...
Kinda cliche, I think they could have gotten Oberyn's fatal flaw across without it being so grossly negligent. I just can never get over the "he's dead, oh snap no he isn't" horror movie move.
I actually yelled "No!" on the cut to black.
CRAZY ending. Apparently there's no legalesing to be done with both of them dying. Or at least not with Tywin quick to deliver the verdict.
Oberyn's dead, Gregor is... well, he's dead (that's not a wound you recover from), but still breathing. Gods have willed it!
It's a great legal system.
Not loving Dany ditching Jorah. That's going to be interesting. My guess is he goes to Astapor or Yunkai and tries to regain Dany's trust somehow.
It looks like Robin, Sansa and Peter are going out the back door at the same time Arya is walking through the front door. Another Stark reunion near-miss would be a little annoying.
Holy fucking shit! This fucking show man, this fucking show.
For the show's sake, I've read Martin has given the showrunners a detailed outline of how he plans on finishing up the story.
Cersei and Tywin are a little too comfortable in their chairs. Methinks they are ripe for plucking.
I'm not gonna spoil anything here, but provided they stick to the books -- and for this, well, I can't see too much deviation -- you're in for a real treat. :-)
This comment is totally unnecessary. I know exactly what you're referring to, but now you've just dropped a hint.
you should be negged to oblivion
It's like when you're watching a scary movie with someone and they say something like "make sure you watch this part".
Yup. It seems like she has shed the little girl persona and is embracing womanhood. Redheads are nice.
She knows she is Littlefinger's weakness and he think she is far to innocent and naive to use him, he'll get his too at some point I think.
That was intense
Arya laughing hysterically at her aunt's death was amazing.
Edit [awesome gif]:
Just finished it. They definitely did the trial by combat justice. Amazing scene.
