I mean... they REALLY have this up in their press area?  Tone deaf?  Stupid?  Or really, really... really Tough?

I suppose you're correct in a way.  But they can't establish that mindset with a coach and staff who doesn't fit into that mentality.  Your DC - who you guys love for some odd reason - has only forced one punt in the second half of both Michigan games he's coached in. Combined.

Day is incredibly soft.  He's got Matt Cassano shielding him from the Columbus peer pressure and backlash.  His All Big 10 QB wasn't Stroud-level, so Day gets happy feet and he bolts.  Your new QB would do well just to match McCord's numbers from last year.

Your WR coach can't get a functional blocking WR coached up, and your OLine can't free up anyone but Trayanum (who bolted).

Keep, uh... "establishing" whatever that is supposed to be, I guess.

Every time Ryan Day and "tough" are brought up--and particularly when Day talks about being tough, I think of Fredo talking about being smart.
