I'd rather they get the…

I'd rather they get the right hire than a quick hire. A right and quick hire would be best. But given our AD, I'm not expecting either.

He's the second best George…

He's the second best George Washington that I'm familiar with, which is still pretty good.

Didn't we also beat MSU 49-0…

Didn't we also beat MSU 49-0?

Another thing that doesn't get talked about enough is that the movies King Ralph and Mr. Deeds have the same plots: doofus becomes rich and powerful only to have the butler be the rightful heir. Sorry for the King Ralph spoilers.

I’m torn. Orji/Denegal have…

I’m torn. Orji/Denegal have the higher ceilings, but it would be funnier to watch OSU fans rationalize how they lost to Jack Tuttle.

Warde is Hamlet, an…

Warde is Hamlet, an indecisive tragic character who doesn't know ball.

(apologies for a Hamlet reference on the Ides of March, but I couldn't think of a Julius Caesar reference)

Huge hire. Alford was good…

Huge hire. Alford was good at Notre Dame and at OSU under Urban Meyer. It's not Alford's fault that Ryan Day is too soft to run the ball.

Ryan Day's ship is sinking…

Ryan Day's ship is sinking. What a shame.

If we win in Columbus this…

If we win in Columbus this year, I may never stop laughing.

I’d love to see the number…

I’d love to see the number of auto bids for all conferences fluctuate annually based on the previous season’s performance in the tournament. It would add a feeling of relegation and promotion, add conference rooting interests, and give us more reason to hate Ohio State when they lose to a random SEC team.

They’ll never do it because of money and power, but it would be fun.

It's about loyalty and…

It's about loyalty and surviving the changing landscape. The lesser teams that are fortunate to be in the Big 10 shouldn't knife the revenue generating teams in the back because the revenue generators can leave. Before last season, I wouldn't have been in favor of a super conference because it will destroy the lesser Big 10 teams. But now? They showed us that we're on our own.

The players are going to be paid from the revenue. If there's a super conference on the horizon, the best chances for survival will be to join and cut out the fat. If Michigan refuses to join out of solidarity with Illinois, we'll become Illinois. I don't want to be Illinois.

I don’t remember the lesser…

I don’t remember the lesser teams sticking up for Michigan during the regular season. Rather, I recall the Illini and Purdues trying to sink our championship season with their hyper dramatic sign gate BS.

I can’t wait to leave those peasant schools to fend for themselves. What kind of TV deal will the CW channel give Northwestern, Illinois and Purdue etc. when Michigan, OSU and PSU aren’t transferring wealth to them anymore?

I fully support this if …

I fully support this if “science” is code for steroids.

And boom goes the dynamite…

And boom goes the dynamite. Rudock 2.0 anybody?

Am I the only one who finds…

Am I the only one who finds John U Bacon arrogant and pretentious? I can't listen to the guy.

Am I the only one who finds…

Am I the only one who finds John U Bacon arrogant and pretentious? I can't listen to the guy.

During this run, we were…

During this run, we were recruiting (and signing) a bunch of players that developed into NFL players. I hope we keep doing that.

I don't want to see us investing time and effort into recruiting the top guys only to see them go to schools that pay incoming recruits NIL. We're better off finding the dudes who love the football grind, have leadership potential, and want to be at Michigan. That's what has worked and will work in the future.

I can't tell if Seth…

I can't tell if Seth actually loves the Amoeba Defense or if he just loves saying Amoeba.

You jerk off to UM porn?

Do…

You jerk off to UM porn?

Do I jerk off to UM porn? Yeah, yeah, I jerk off to UM porn, yeah.

How many times a week?

Like three...four? Three or four times maybe.

You gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers in this racket.

They already get cut for…

They already get cut for poor performance either directly (Alabama style) or indirectly (being passed over and leaving through the portal).

We need an NFL style GM, not…

We need an NFL style GM, not an old school athletic director. That's the future.

Harbaugh's loyalty has…

Harbaugh's loyalty has always been to himself. He came to Michigan 9 years ago for a big salary and because he had a falling out with the 49ers. I'm not sure he could have gotten an NFL Job 9 years ago (despite the Raiders still being in play). This idea that Michigan owes him everything is garbage. Michigan boosted Jim and Jim boosted Michigan.

DC is a critical position…

DC is a critical position given our young, offensive-minded head coach. A DC with experience in that role is important. Absent that, a trusted former DC on the staff would be helpful whether that's Minter or someone else.

Every time Seth says Amoeba,…

Every time Seth says Amoeba, I want to take a drink.

Balsa is a good nickname for…

Balsa is a good nickname for the soft wooden figure of Chris Balas

I'm no fan of Warde, but we…

I'm no fan of Warde, but we should give him some credit for the past three years. If some had their way in 2020 (Ace Anbender et al.), we would have hired the Iowa State coach and not won three Big 10 championships and a National Championship. Warde held the course on Harbaugh against some decently strong headwinds and should be credited for that decision.

I'm not saying I would be…

I'm not saying I would be disappointed with Moore, but he was only head coach during a few game days. I'd at least like Michigan to consider hiring a coach with more experience.

I'm not saying I would be…

Do we have to have a head…

Do we have to have a head coach? If the OC and DC are in charge of the offense and defense, why do we have to have a separate head coach? Could we pour that head coaching money into hiring and retaining the best OC and DC and name them co-head coaches?

Give me Orji and Mullings in…

Give me Orji and Mullings in short yardage and maybe 4-5 packages per game. He’s too good of a runner to not see the field. If he can throw a little, he might be the starter. But I don’t believe Orji needs to be the best passer to win the job given his running potential.

OSU also downgraded at WR…

OSU also downgraded at WR. This should be the weakest OSU wide receiver room in the past 5-6 seasons.

All we need is Jake Rudock…

All we need is Jake Rudock-level QB play, and this team would have a realistic chance of beating OSU next year. Take as many lottery tickets at QB as possible.

I can't tell you how great…

I can't tell you how great it has been watching my three young kids become Michigan fans. It's all thanks to Harbaugh and this amazing team.

Tough as nails.

Tough as nails.

12 days of Christmas runs…

12 days of Christmas runs from Christmas day to the Epiphany. You are early.

I pull it off the podbean…

I pull it off the podbean podcasting app:

I hope he transfers to…

I hope he transfers to Michigan, and we beat OSU with an average QB.

Brave Sir Robin bravely ran…

Brave Sir Robin bravely ran away.

Need patience on the passing…

Need patience on the passing and take the underneath throws. Mix up running game, run JJ, and hit the edges. Another TD and the Iowa defense will start to lose steam.

It'll live on in the minds…

It'll live on in the minds of MSU and OSU fans because they want to believe that our success wasn't because of us. Who cares?

They are always looking for an excuse to discount our success and if it wasn't Stalions, it would have been something else (e.g., the snow, sickness, 5 plays). The longer their coaches actually believe that nonsense, the longer it'll take them to wake up and make the changes needed to pass our program. Let them believe their lies.

ND died when it shadow…

ND died when it shadow joined the ACC. Too many crap games against Wake Forest and Georgia Tech.

I put the Christmas tree up with my family then puke in a bucket and watch The Game.

Positive thought:

Positive thought:

If Michigan is down a couple coaches and still beats OSU, Ryan Day is skewered.

Christ, toughen the hell up.

Christ, toughen the hell up.

He's America's red headed…

Bill is America's red headed sex symbol.

The result was inevitable…

The result was inevitable. The timing was not. The Big 10 wanted to punish Harbaugh and it would have done that eventually. Michigan's due process arguments might have delayed things but it would not have carried the day in preventing punishment. I'd rather get it out of the way now rather than impact the Big 10 Championship game--because we are beating OSU--or a playoff appearance.
