OH GOD THOSE EMOJI EYES
What in the hell is Cameron McGrone thinking? He didn't participate in the pro day. Is he injured? The only thing he did was 20 reps on the BP

what the hell is this

I get the 4.42 40 speed, and the 4.29 shuttle. But I have no idea how good any of the other measurements are.
So yay, Nico?
That 3-cone number would've been top-3 in the entire draft (all positions) last year. Suffice it to say that for a guy 6'4", well, he just moved up into the first round.
Was he not considered first round? Would have been a steel.
I've mostly seen him 3-5th round
could be an iron as well
He was underrated around 12th by Rivals or PFF or SI. Vague, I know, but cannot recall the article bc I was shaking my head at how many short fast guys were being salivated over.
Nico has a chance to be a great deep threat, and I’d love him to be a second round guy for my team.
He's not moving up into 1st round because of testing numbers. He isn't anywhere near top 5-7 in WR position rankings. If he were to be in the 1st round, he'd have to be at top 5 which he isn't. Plus there are a bunch of WRs balling out with the testing numbers like Rondale Moore, Elijah Moore, etc.

I think many of us UM fans would love to see Nico on our NFL team and we all dream about the lost potential over the last few years, but yeah, if the results of a 3 cone test are enough for an NFL team to move him up into the first round, I've got to question the scouting proficiency of that team. The combine/pro-day was just a made up PR event to give scouts cover when they made a drafting mistake...."well he had the fastest shuttle time among linebackers, I figured he had to be good."
I always thought that his size and speed and general performance made him a good pick but that his ability to get the 50/50 ball puts him near the top of my list. If he lands in an offense that knows how to use him then he will be impressive.
I will never forget the look on Nico's face as he brought the ball into his hands against OSU. Nope, no sir, nice try, this ball IS MINE. And you see that look on most every catch.
I scored a 960 on the SAT, but I know it doesn't matter how good your WR's are (Nico, DPJ, etc) if you can't find / develop a single freaking QB that is capable enough to hit wide open receivers 20 yards downfield.

Dang thought he might come back for his 8th year
Captain America is no longer part of MCU or UofM Universe :(
If he dropped ten pounds, he'd gain half a second on his 40 and be a day 2 pick.
Sure thing!

6041 inches tall?? Dang, that's a late growth spurt.

No, that's 6041 feet! Puts Tacopants to shame.
He can see Denver from here.

246 lbs. seems a little small for a defensive tackle. Has he ever thought about playing fullback?
He likely cut a lot of weights to get into playable weight at FB/H-Back. Wasn't he at 275 lbs so he can play DT last year?
It was something like that. I was just feeling a little snarky when I posted.
Not sure how it translates to the field, but a 37.5" vertical for a dude that size is impressive.
Neck: 0
Fullback neck - head comes straight out of the shoulder.

It would have been nice getting Nico the ball more than twice a game.
I gotta be honest, I’m here all the time and had no idea that today was Pro Day. ?♂️
Thanks for the info MLD Woody!
We won't ever know what Nico was truly capable of out there collegiate level
Add .1 of a second for all pro day 40's.
For track you 0.24 seconds to a 100m for hand timing.
So probably more like .24 than .1
add a .24?? Come on now, there is no way Nico ran a slow 4.66.
Track is definitely .24. For football, there was a research paper that determined .18. So his 40 would be 4.60.
The final reminder of the criminal underutilization of our 2017 WR class.
All is well though. The person in charge in 2017 just got an extension...
Pep?
Oh I get it, another shot at Harbaugh, how creative.
Yes, we get it, many people (myself included) think that Harbaugh should've been fired after this last season, but in terms of modernizing the offense, looking the changes made and the coaches he brought in, I'm not sure how much more you could ask for.
Considering they basically haven't used reads yet, it hasn't looked terribly modern actually. Pretty ridiculous to look at the last 2 years of Michigan offense and think what else could you ask for. My only optimism is that Gattis is still around. You'd think if Harbaugh was meddling and it was a total mess between those 2 like many here like to think, he wouldn't be around for a 3rd year. So they must have some hope they can finally put it together. Would be nice.
Those are elite numbers, if accurate.
that 3 cone is eye opening for a 6-4 215 pound player.
