Harbaugh isn't "taking" anyone. These coaches aren't being kidnapped. He's offering them something new and they're choosing to take it. If this is a raise or a promotion or a better situation in any way we can't fault Herbert for taking it...
Small typo - in the 40 yard dash section, it should say it was a 30 yard dash, not 40. I thought he ran a 4.33 40 as a 12 year old which would have been insane
Good question. OBJ is still clearly very talented, but he just didn't mesh. Playing with his best friend Jarvis you'd hope he'd figure it out. He did off-season training with Baker and the other receivers too. Seemed to get along great.
But when he's out there it just doesn't work. Maybe Baker felt he needed to get him touches instead of just reading the defense? No idea.
I fully expect OBJ to kill it wherever he ends up.
As a Browns fan, with OBJ finally gone, hopefully we can get DPJ more looks. He's produced most of the time he's targeted. Had a great over the shoulder catch late where he got lit up on the sideline as he made the catch and still held on.
- Portal Transfer comes in -> MGoBlog complains Harbaugh is getting transfers
- Recruited Roster beats out Transfer -> MGoBlog complains about another player transferring and our.. *looks at designated rage sheet*.... inability to hold on to transfers (?)
*rather to stay and possibly improve their stock, while risking injuries that could derail their career and while forgoing the ability to get paid for dedicating their life to football
And we only hear about or care about Michigan's transfers, draft enrollees, etc (naturally). But these numbers don't mean much in a vacuum without valid comparisons to other programs and what their numbers are
Oliver Martin, really? You don't think his success since leaving has anything to do with it?
DPJ left to go to the NFL and get paid. I can never fault a player for that.
Many of the others you listed left for playing time.
It is easy to sit here and complain about all of the transfers, but how much of that is just the new state of CFB? The transfer portal and players that are more wise to the process have resulted in more transfers. And I don't blame any of them for going somewhere to play.
These complaints are hollow without data to compare to transfer rates at similar programs.
The responses will quickly become "Well look at OSU!"
OSU is a well-oiled CFB machine that has been built up (for a handful of reasons) over the last decade plus. They're operating at all time highs. Whether we like it or not that isn't a reasonable comparison.
Hell, LSU just won the CFP and they fell off of a cliff this year.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 - Denard
Put Jabrill out there and let him go to work
You forgot the Davis Warren era
Chase Winovich put his number selection up to a poll on Twitter. He will be wearing #69 for the Browns.
Hope…
Let's go! Go Browns!
Hope Wino kills it.
and auto play video ads
the little figurines are a nice touch
Do…
Yikes man, just yikes.
Do you not think Michigan is world-famous as an academic institution?
Harbaugh has never mailed in anything in his entire life...

A university is more than a football team
I'd be interested in seeing the breakdown between Out of State and In State.
Is the % moving more towards OOS, allowing Michigan to reject more In State kids, lowering the AR?
Or are the % changing the same and the reduction in AR being driven by a much lower OOS AR than IS?
Just based on current demographics IS will always have a higher AR than OOS, but it would be interesting to see what is driving the recent change.
Live in Cleveland, live long fan, Michigan alum
I bought my Browns DPJ jersey as soon as I could
Alright grandpa, time for bed.
"Should have reached" would be the more accurate of the two, IMO
thank god for VAR
or at least just Cali

No. He's a scumbag
Best of luck to him
Who?
Yes, why don't they think of the over attached internet fan first! Why won't they consider our feelings!
meh
and they just punted in 4th and 1 around the 50
I'm not complaining. Go Browns!
Though as a Browns fan that has only ever seen failure... I'm still expecting failure
This might be the dumbest thread yet. Congrats.
I think people prefer complaining
For all we know the contract has been signed for a while now and they're working on finalizing the defensive staff.
But instead let's assume that because we (fans) haven't heard something there is no way it could have happened.
Insider info about Harbaugh and the NFL has never been wrong before.... so let's all get our pitchforks out and get angry!
I mean an INSIDER said so!

Did you immediately forget the Aidan news today just to fit this into your narrative?
Man, it's been months, and I still see you complaining about Harbaugh is most threads. Calm down.
Denard Denard Denard
I imagine rumors of us being down to our 3rd QB and others being held out for COVID are affected this line
Awesome. I've been waiting for one from my time at Michigan.
Getting to see Denard's career live from the student section was great.

Get out of here with your reasoned and balanced takes. None of that is allowed.
Has anyone ever said false positives never happen?
If anything you're better off with a COVID test that leans on the side of false positives instead of false negatives.
Good to know turnovers are just about inspiration
