They can use Ford Field like MSU did for a "home" game against PSU last season.

Sorry, but pointing to the first two years with Beilein's guys as a defense for how successful you "could" be, is like trying to sell ketchup popsicles to a woman in white gloves. Unless you're dumb, you ain't buying it. It's been a complete disaster since the Elite 8 loss.

Warde will do nothing again…

Warde will do nothing again and hope it turns into the Harbaugh situation when he did nothing and it worked. His greatest accomplishment.

I am afraid football will head in the same direction as basketball if UM doesn't hire an AD who is forward-thinking and leads these programs into a new era of college sports. Warde is stuck in the past and is not the person for the job.

My Paternal Grandfather went…

My Paternal Grandfather went to U of M and played basketball and then his sons(dad and uncle) followed in his footsteps to U of M. My uncle is an Adjunct Prof there today.

I never strongly desired to go to U of M because 1. I wanted to play soccer and they didn't have a Varsity team at the time, and 2. I never worked hard enough in the classroom to sniff admission into Michigan.

But, I have been a Michigan fan since diapers, mostly because of the family connection. Although, I love Ann Arbor and would probably live there if not for the long commute to work.

Wow, after reading that(if…

Wow, after reading that(if at all true), this is definitely on Warde. Harbaugh may have left no matter who was AD, but it sounds like his relationship with WM made the decision a whole lot easier.

Couple this with the reports that WM wouldn't alter the contract to Harbaugh's liking until he was all but out the door(WTF?!!?), yeah fire Warde, like yesterday.

You can't treat Harbaugh like any other coach, because he isn't any other coach. He is the best coach in college football for Harbaugh's sake, freaking act like it, dumbass. Who cares it hurts your precious fee-fees.

PSU was probably picked as a…

PSU was probably picked as a loss/most impressive win because it was the toughest road game.

Nope

Nope and nope. Chargers aren’t winning a Super Bowl with JH and why should I root for a team that can barely get people in LA to root for them?

Sorry, not buying it…

Sorry, not buying it. Beilein has nothing to do with UM hoops anymore and Quinn seems to be a golf guy now for the Athletic. He has always come across like he has an axe to grind regarding Michigan, even when Beilein was here. Again, he has a pro-MSU/Izzo slant IMO.

This article is written like an opinion piece as well:

But what they don’t cite is reality. And in reality, Howard is unlikely going anywhere, unless he decides to leave himself.

and

What’s far more likely is Howard being granted the opportunity to reboot the program after this season.

Doesn't sound like he quoting sources to me. Just vague predictions based on Manuel's previous "modus operandi". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2020 never happened.

2020 never happened.

Pretty sure Jim hasn't…

Pretty sure Jim hasn't slapped an opposing coach or gotten in a heated argument with his strength coach, resulting in an HR complaint.

Also, B. Quinn sucks. He is more of an MSU guy anyway, not sure how "plugged in" he really is concerning UofM.

Where did I say it was Coach…

Please point me to where I blamed it on Coach Howard.

readyourguard is John Duerr! You are a great follow on Twitter, I love your breakdowns. Please take Sparty's money, he's got a lot of it after all! LMAO.

Also, hilarious that if he did a tiny bit of internet sleuthing he would know you played football for Michigan in the 80s... Morans.

That fact that this is even…

That fact that this is even a possibility in your mind shows where this program is.

Suspended for road games only? I have never heard of such a thing, and unfortunately “never heard of such a thing” is becoming a staple of coach Howard’s tenure at UM.

Then he uses the n-word in…

What a complete shit-show.

Opposing coaches are still…

Opposing coaches are still salty because Michigan proved that having signs or a "sign guy" doesn't mean shit and it makes them look stupid for complaining about it. All while they employ "sign guys" and collect Michigan's signal sheet from Ryan Day. I guess I would be salty too if I couldn't beat Michigan after all that.

I hope Michigan starts REALLY cheating by tampering in the portal and paying recruits to visit/commit so B1G coaches can be salty about that too(even though they do the same thing). Rinse, repeat.

Stay salty bitches, all while UM keeps up the status quo of beating your asses.

B1G coaches still acting…

B1G coaches still acting like the sign thing was an advantage after UM squashed that by, you know, beating the shit the of the rest of the B1G from MSU on(even though they all had Michigan's signs) is hilarious. Like guys, give it up, your "don't know ball" is showing.

I agree that admissions…

I agree that admissions policies are certainly not the biggest issue. Would it have been nice to get Shannon and Love? Of course, but maybe make sure you are allocating time and resources to bring in players you KNOW will be admitted. That's on Coach Howard.

UM had two first-round NBA draft picks and the #1 transfer portal target on its team last season and couldn't make the tournament. That's not an admissions problem, that's a coaching/roster construction problem.

I also find it odd that Coach Howard can't give a press conference but is well enough to sit on the bench, get thrown out of games, and allegedly beef with other staff members.  We haven't heard him speak to the media since UM lost to Vandy in the NIT. That was almost 300 days ago. A lot has happened over the last 3/4 of the year even before this season started and his heart surgery, including two players getting drafted, his best player transferring, transfers coming in, and transfers not getting in. Not a peep about any of it. Can we get an explanation of what Howard's plan is for this team and the future of the program from someone... anyone... please?

Couple these points with Coach Howard's inability to control his emotions and ability to create drama(Turgeon, Wisconsin slap, and now Sanderson)maybe it's time to reset the program. It feels like it's lost its way and doesn't look like this is the staff to turn it around.

Stover was on the media's first team. Not sure who decides "of the year" awards, maybe a combo of coach and media votes, and Stover had the edge?

I watched OSU beat reporters…

I watched a video of OSU beat reporters on the field after the game, saying that if last Saturday's game were played 10 times in an indoor, climate-controlled environment, OSU would have won 7 or 8 times. As if The Game has ever in its long history been played indoors. They are down REALLY bad.

What if UM told the B1G, …

What if UM told the B1G, "Sure, we will fire Jim Harbaugh from the Head coaching position at Michigan, now go away.", then proceeded to immediately hire him for more money than any head coach in the B1G as the "CEO of football"?

We did it legally, like stealing it from the third base coach.

Wait, didn't all this start because Michigan decoded signs from THE third base coach?

Already did the same…

Already did the same yesterday, and left some not-so-nice comments for the reason why.

Sure doesn't seem like it.

Sure doesn't seem like it. Michigan is still recruiting at a very high level.

Then they'd have to do the same for Georgia.

UM FBS opponents combined record: 31-33

UGA FBS opponents combined record: 22-35

Georgia's Non-con schedule is worse than Michigan's, they played UAB, Ball St, Tenn-Martin. Wowza that's bad, weird how we don't hear about that every five minutes.

If your ranking is accurate then the CFP committee don't know ball.

1. Georgia

2. Michigan

3. UW

4. FSU

IMO - Georgia and UM should be flipped, but SEC bias will prevail.
