This is what made this team so dangerous last year (besides Trey Burke just being on another world).   We have no inside presence at all once McGary went down.  I am honestly suprised that the redshirt wasnt lifted in Donnel.  If i remember from his recruting, he was suppose to be a 6'9 guy that rebounds well but has range out to 3pt land.  If our bigs could consistantly hit that 12 ft elbow shot, defenses couldn't over play our wings.

Beilien has been here 7 years and has only brought in 1 decent Big in McGary and no one knows about Donnel.  He needs to bring in more.

The most frustrating thing about the offense during this stretch is who is taking the shots.  Stauskas needs to demand the ball and improve in the post.  I'd rather have him either initiate the offense so he can start out on top and read the defense or take the "mouse in the house" to the post.  Caris doesn't have the passing ability and GR3 is ice cold.  This game is ripe for the pickings so hopefully they step up.

I thought for sure OSU would do to us what Iowa did to us over the weekend.  So far, that hasn't been the case.  But there's plenty of basketball left.

In that last minute, we actually defended the paint.  Continue doing that, make the shots stop rolling out and maybe I'll have some hope.

On a totally random note... When I see Greg Paulus at every timeout I remember how annoying he was as a player. I remember seeing Duke play UVA and the crowd chanted "Paulus Sucks" ever time he touched the ball for the entire game.

commented on but it was interesting to see JB slapping hands with Nik after his first 3. Pure encouragement to be more aggressive. It was also nice to see Nik fighting through defenders and refusing to be denied his spot. This team needs him to work that hard, something I don't think he's done consistently against certain defenses.

Is very poor defending around the hoop. I would love to see Beilein double the post any time the ball is fed down low. Many times the ball will be fed and there is plenty of time to slide over and double but they usually just allow the defender to play one on one. Bill Frieder teams were great at doubling the post.

Shari's Berries....LOL. I love how they think $20 for six fucking strawberries is a good deal. It's always funny when every radio show host pimps them and says how good of a deal it is. Obviously that is their job, but it still makes me laugh.
