This will be your thread for thoughts and hot takes that defy neat categorization regarding the Maryland game.

It is good to be bored in the second half. This team is spoiling me. I want to see IOWA destroyed next week. It will be a good test for Speight with their CBs. This game showed how many play makers we have. Freshmen are playing extremely well. I am so glad to see Drake Harris had that catch even though he was called in a PI. If he takes off in the next few weeks it will be a good sign for next year. Great game. Great coaching. Not worried about the defense. They are good in the red zone and they will fix those screen passes.

Hot take....The team of Griese/levy/mcshay is actually enjoyable to listen to. My ears aren't bleeding by the 3rd quarter like a Sullivan/Cunningham, OR Matt Millen broadcast.

Need to fix up the edge big time. Tackling was iffy at times too. Stribling needs to improve imo. That's where this season lies imo, we must adjust to all of these perimeter runs, stribling must tackle better and be more physical.

In 3 weeks.  Offense has so many options.  Going to be hard to defend for anyone.  Thank God, Harbaugh kept it loose the entire game.  Great to see play action with a huge lead.  Nice to see Ty bust a long one.

Defense has obviously been stellar but man every game Stribling misses a tackle...I know, no reason to nitpick.  But that's about the only time I yell at the tv these days.  Special season.

Yeah, I thought he looked much faster today as well. I know their defense isn't very good, but I think it's more of his comfort and confidence level. It's a great feeling when your QB, while not a true "duel threat", is capable of stealing you a 1st down or 2 throughout the game, or possibly even 6 points if your 10-15 yards from the GL.

Gonna be a few years before I get bored by these types of games.

Bad competition notwithstanding, Speight had a great game. Maybe better than any Rudock had last year? Loved every decision. Great throws.

Jim Harbaugh said Speight is playing so well that he should begin being mentioned as a Heisman Trophy candidate. "It's time to throw his hat into the ring," Harbaugh said.

to our O-lineman, Braden i think?  3rd quarter, down by their goal.  play over. m-land's #18 is on all fours and our guy is stepping away from him, cleanly, no contact.  18 punches him right in the privates and braden doubles over.   next play # 18 takes off bredeson's helmet.   if i was on that O-line, next play would be to cave # 18's knee in and end his season.

(just back from journey to AA - great day)

if someone doesn't use crude language, then they don't know what 'fine' looks like?  or were you just saltly last night and working out your 'crab people' issues?

Great win and performance after a big win.

After two of our biggest games so far this season--Wisconsin and MSU (yes, I know sparty sucks horribly but that's still a big game--Michigan has outscored their next opponent by a combined score of 137-3.

Harbaugh does not allow complacency. A true sign of an elite coach and an elite team.

Did anyone see if David long got any playing time? I tried to spot him later in the game but I'm not sure he ever got in. Does anyone know if he's nicked up at all?

facet of the game with talented players who play very hard.   No they are not perfect.  Who is?

This Michigan football team is a joy to watch.
