|1 day 22 hours ago||Some plays--but TD run||
Green powered through some contact. I thought that was different and noteworthy. Sometimes, however, he tumbles at the LOS without much of an apparent fight. Improvement?

I do want a little bang in my yin-yang.
|1 week 46 min ago||Inching closer, on the road, not-great conditions||
Didn't hit, but wasn't as off as previous games. I think, especially withe Chesson, Rudock will start connecting in the near future.
Also, conditions weren't awesome for throwing the ball.
|1 week 22 hours ago||DL v. Michigan OL||
Did you mean UM's 'weakness' there?
|1 week 1 day ago||Not even Northwestern?||
Because there's a case to be made that Northwestern is better than State this year.

Does this feature sorta cut against that sponsor?
|1 week 4 days ago||Michigan also ranked 22!||
He's keeping pace with the team!
|1 week 4 days ago||Good effort||
Not sure this will catch on, but I like the idea of adding Harbaughisms to Michigan traditions.
|1 week 5 days ago||Injury||
Absolutely--Northwestern is no joke this year.
But I think a huge factor for them are key injuries without the depth to cover. One of the bummers from their Ball State win was how many guys got sidelined.
Also in Michigan's favor: playing Maryland when Northwestern is playing a tougher Minnesota team. Minnesota could be called a 'trap' game, where Maryland--not to jinx anything--should be over in the 1st quarter.
|1 week 6 days ago||Harris||
I think Harris is Michigan's secret weapon vs. State. I think that's the bombshell Harbaugh is saving up.
|1 week 6 days ago||Trends||
I believe we're positively trending for Gary, Corley, Davis, and Kemp.
We're behind others for Kelly (Oklahoma is presumed, and they're having a pretty good season right now).
I haven't heard much about Jackson or Murphy.

De'veon's answer about improving vision was very interesting to me:
“I’ve actually been going to the offensive line room with them and we go over protections and blocking schemes, so that’s probably what’s helping me out the most. Coach Drevno coaching me up a little bit more.”
|2 weeks 22 hours ago||Saw this on Twitter about Kemp (Paywalled)||
DE Carlo Kemp had a strong visit to #Michigan this weekend. Could he be next to commit? https://t.co/Alwm4DuCgC
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Possible Confusion for the Symptom||
Michigan just played BYU.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||It's a thought, and I found myself agreeing with it.||
Nice use of media. The writing is also solid.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Great Point||
The early OV doesn't meant it's the only visit, and if this is just one of several visits, this is a great sign. Love the perspective, here.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Top 25||
If they can stay there, that would be optimal. Not sure if they will. Don't forget Northwestern, either!
|4 weeks 1 day ago||Not ranked scenario||
I don't think Michigan would enter the top 25. Because our wins would've been over the unranked BYU, then deeply flawed OSU and (probably) a pretty bad UNLV team.
Edit: Looks like BYU is now ranked. So I'd have to say that there's a chance.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||Some considerations||
Thanks for your post. A few considerations:
1. I justified why I picked this game to make comparisons at the top of my post. Basically, this is a ranked opponent, and State won't face anyone nearly as good until they meet Michigan.
2. I think I pointed out some things from which we may be able to identify points for reflection. Please let me know which ones you didn't like.
3. Fair enough. I just wanted to get others' opinions on how both teams were looking right now. I wanted to see if other saw what I was seeing, what I was missing, etc.
4. It's not so much a fixation on State as it is the (likely) highest-ranked opponent Michigan will face until the Buckeyes.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Great stuff--some considerations||
I think the way Oregon spreads the field, it's really tough to look good against them. However, if you're right about the MSU secondary, I think Rudock will find the open man. That's kind of his thing, especially if the O-line keeps his nose clean (though Brian wasn't as pumped about Michigan's protection).
A bunch of folks are talking about State's offensive struggles. But I kept seeing their O-line tear open holes against Oregon's senior-laden D-line. I know Michigan has awesome guys on the line right now, but matchup-wise, it's not great. Our guys tend to be lighter, and as Brian noted, this creates matchup problems with State's line.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Fair point||
I had originally chalked up Oregon's TD on special teams to them having pretty awesome atheletes at those positions. I didn't realize Western Michigan had success.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||One note||
Unfortunately, Michigan had a ton of penalties against Oregon State. Some of these go away pretty easily (oddly, Graham Glasgow had two procedure penalties that I can see him fixing), but it's not a sure thing.
On the other hand, quite a few games between now and the game. And you can expect improvement from Harbaugh.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Note on WMU||
They lost a couple of their best players during that MSU game.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Comforting, not telling||
The way it should be, and a ton of fun, but the game likely holds little predictive power.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Ripping him gets eyeballs||
And that's ultimately what the dude is after.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Noted||
I remember them being 'solid' because of some miraculous recruiting, but good stuff, thanks.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||MSU Probably Overlooked Western||
Trap-ish game. Western, without injuries, is a pretty good team. Next game against Oregon. I can't fault them for letting Western stay close.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Western makn' a game of it||
Not especially close, but upset is still possible
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Entirely possible||
I like the two tune-ups coming that will help us improve our chemistry on the line and between the QB/receivers.
However, our play against a mobile QB has me worried about BYU, which has a totally awesome guy at their helm right now.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||Thought I saw him twice||
Small fellow, it must be said. Didn't get a touch either time.
