But that's a huge upset, right? Especially in terms of roster market value.
|1 week 6 days ago||Heard an explanation; not sure of source||
Thanks for the post. I remember reading somewhere that the staff didn't have enough connections in the state this year, and they wanted to lay down some groundwork before heading over in the future. Sorry I can't link it; might've even read it on MGoBlog.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Was not||
If you see the time my post was made, you'll see the info wasn't in the thread when I made my response. I read the board from top to bottom, so I didn't see the extravaganza bit.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Thanks||
Missed that thread, as I start from top to bottom on my board readings.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Their perspective||
Not saying I agree that this describes Michigan, but if you thought a school viewed your kids as disposable or that they're dishonest--something along those lines--then you steer your kids from that school/staff.
Not sure if any of this actually applies to Norfleet, but this is one excellent lesson for the repercussions of cutthroat recruiting practices.

Am I missing something, here?
|3 weeks 1 hour ago||Rumors about interim head coach negative recruiting||
Might've been harder than it could've been. Read some Maryland folks speculating this kind of stuff was going on.
In the future, Durkin has London on his staff, which was a great recruiting hire. He'll be just fine.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||Impressive||
I remember reading somewhere that he was a Penn State lean. Harbaugh & Co. are doing some serious work.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Not just a win||
I'm really hoping for a cathartic humiliation that breaks their recruiting and forces Dantonio into retirement.

So has the definition for a 'pick up line' changed at all? Or did the 'pick up' in 'pick up line' always refer to admission to the Holiest of Holies?
I always viewed a successful pick up line as a state of non-rejection, however temporary.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Explanation||
I'm not on Tinder, but even without the app, I'm pretty realistic about how attractive I am.
"Swipe left" is the rejection swipe from what I understand, so I was saying that a girl dishing her contact information is pretty awesome from my perspective. All this was to clarify why I think this guy picked the girl up. Apparently, however, picking a girl up is much different from what I understood it was.
Side note: this whole explanation is actually kind of depressing.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Apologies||
No sarcasm here, but I didn't realize that's how 'picked up' is used. I'm a bit more 'swipe left,' if you will, so I thought it was a pretty solid accomplishment.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Upgrade in Receivers||
Give him a game or two to get on the same page with the starters, and it could be brutally awesome next year.
Also gives me some hope for the group of receivers he was working with, especially Drake Harris. I really thought this would be his break-out year.
|4 weeks 1 hour ago||Schedule Will Work Out Kinks||
Michigan definitely has areas where things need to get figured out--QB, linebacker, one safety spot--but this is the schedule for it.
The team will have 4 games against not-awesome opponents before things get a little more difficult against Wisconsin, and a few games later, a weakened Michigan State team.
Aside from a gutted Ohio State that will get much better by the time Michigan plays them, who else is a real threat?
|4 weeks 4 days ago||So this is something Michigan could exploit?||
Based on what you're saying here, I think you view this is a viable strategy for Michigan?
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Absolutely||
Not only do I think you identified all the salient factors, I think you were fair in how you weighted them. I think the Michigan fanbase tends to overrate the importance of Michigan not being good. While it has helped State, it's not the most important reason they've done so well.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||So good, not even trolls downvote||
Thanks a bunch!
|9 weeks 4 days ago||Factors||
Depends on your latitude.
|9 weeks 6 days ago||Neo||
Seriously, he's the Neo of Michigan football. Out of no where, burns brightly in a time of need, and then he's gone.

Love the cut between Funch and Smith. Professional-grade action demonstrating a fan's insight and passion, that was. Keep up the great work!
|10 weeks 4 days ago||Good show! Well done!||
Give that baby a bite on her calf for me!
|11 weeks 21 hours ago||Impressive!||
And I thought I couldn't get more hype.
|11 weeks 23 hours ago||I miss all the damn drama on here||
I didn't even get to see RDT out himself, man.
|11 weeks 2 days ago||Great Points||
I think Penn State's DL and willingness to pass make this a game. The B1G East is not out of reach yet; thanks for these reminders!
|11 weeks 6 days ago||Good point--but notice the spread||
Michigan is just one ahead of Utah. Effing Stanford is 9 ahead of Northwestern.
|12 weeks 1 day ago||Timing and Glasgow||
Is this before or after Jim's announcement about our d-line? Otherwise, we have a 288 pound Godin getting pushed around.
|12 weeks 5 days ago||Hands||
I thought you would've come across it once or twice while on here, but no problem. It refers to the size of his hands, which are enormous.
|12 weeks 6 days ago||Plus Ian Bunting||
Maybe Butt bails, but imagine this kid paired with Ian "Skillet Hands" Bunting. Scary, scary stuff.
|13 weeks 22 hours ago||Nope||
|13 weeks 22 hours ago||Nah||
Please check my post history. Definitely not a troll. Also, I don't mean to imply anything about how good a team Michigan is or how good the coaching is. Just saying that it's easy to write off Indiana, but that they're actually not as bad as their record may indicate.
