Coach Hoke had a nice feast with the Mone family last night for his in-home visit. pic.twitter.com/DaKu7m8S0q

Also of note with recruiting:
#Michigan coaches Greg Mattison and Fred Jackson had a nice sit down with Top50 DL Malik McDowell: http://t.co/g9uhQ7IDZc #Wolverines

All of that looks delicious, and indeed, it makes me wonder what I was doing having chicken and a small salad as well as a probiotic yogurt for dessert this evening. I could have cooked with a little more effort.
In all seriousness though, it is nice that the coaches do take advantage of the opportunity to make such visits.

as the first thing I noticed were those sausages. . .

That's a solid spread. Now we know why Mone is 315 as a high schooler. I think I would be too.

crazy

Maybe not subs-crazy, but I bet authentic Tongan cuisine could get a little wild every now and again.

I laughed. +1.

Hell yes! This is making me hungry!

We need something positive with this program.

They have some free time this week since they don't have a B10 championship game to deal with.
Too soon?

makes me wonder who's recruiting who? As someone who just finished choking down a frozen dinner that looks incredible!
December 4th, 2013 at 8:36 PM ^
With Urban's and Dantonio's health problems, they probably request salads at their recruits' houses. I know that my mom would take offense to that, and would love a houseguest like Brady!

I'd guess that Hoke is really good at that (having dinner with recruits). I mean that as a compliment.

Might want to rephrase the last sentence.
December 4th, 2013 at 9:00 PM ^
Having Brady Hoke as a dinner guest seems like it would be a much more pleasant experience than having Dantonio or Urbz at the table. They barely have 1 personality between the both of them and even that 1 is pretty stiff and tempermental.

December 4th, 2013 at 9:29 PM ^
Urbz would just talk about how he could beat you up and Dantonio would just stare at you with a scowl on his face.
December 4th, 2013 at 9:13 PM ^
know much about Mone? He's over 300lbs, can he come in and play right away? Or is he raw and much technique is needed. Will he enroll early by chance? This defense really needs that NT who needs an immediate double team.

December 5th, 2013 at 1:32 PM ^
Including the training table chefs I'm guessing.
December 5th, 2013 at 10:41 AM ^
He's got awfully quick feet for a kid who eats that much! Impressive.

jersey on those sausages and send them over to urbz next year when the kid hits campus. the implied threat: we will eat you!
December 5th, 2013 at 7:37 AM ^
Hoke would probably come over, shoot the shit about once trying to drink all the beer in Muncie, In, and then politely request a 24 oz Porterhouse to go with his Italian Sausages.
December 5th, 2013 at 8:27 AM ^
I imagine Urbz taking off his championship rings, putting them on the table and saying, "I have nothing more to say".
December 5th, 2013 at 8:40 AM ^
I counted 12 sausages and 8 chicken breasts... not counting what was on the coach's plates.
Holy Mother of all good and perfect meats! #Eatin
December 5th, 2013 at 9:14 AM ^
Do you think Hoke got seconds?
Thirds?
December 5th, 2013 at 9:31 AM ^
I love that Hoke's plate is piled about a foot high and he's eating with his hands.
December 5th, 2013 at 2:13 PM ^
Me too. Coach Hoke is putting that food away with efficiency.
