Got a BTT to win and an NCAA tourney to make a run in first. Check back in April.
|1 week 2 days ago||I said it for the UMHoops pressers with Tim||
But I have a very easy time rooting for Nebraska this season in part because it seems they have a really good head coach leading them.
|1 week 5 days ago||you realize||
Different angles is just splitting votes. Not that it matters for this one.

Emphatically banging positively now.

I liked your Michigan Basketball 2012-2013 video a lot. This one just makes me relive a lot of bad memories.
|6 weeks 4 hours ago||Yes||
I agree that it relatively helps in that perspective of tourney resumes. But I'd rather the team we play 2-3 times (or maybe beat 2-3 times) have the best record they can.

than to send those cabinets back to the carpentry store from whence they came.
|6 weeks 5 hours ago||Being ranked is nice||
But yeah, it means next to nothing at this point in the season.
|6 weeks 19 hours ago||Horrible.||
Absolutely horrible. Thoughts go out to the victims, their families, and their MSU friends who are all affected by this.
EDIT: Any upvotes I give are for awareness and nothing else.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||I'm still baselining expectations at the second weekend||
of the NCAA. Still plenty of the B1G to stumble over. That said, at this point, this season should be in "enjoy the ride" mode. There will probably be more great moments to go along with some disappointments. I'd say the chances of Michigan replicating their adjusted Offensive Efficiency next season like they did without Burke & Hardaway are slim. Hope I'm pproven wrong.

Sorry, I had to.
|7 weeks 2 days ago||That||
was a lot of comments to bang.

I only have one upvote to give for this comment.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||A little love||
for that Caris steal/dunk?
|7 weeks 4 days ago||Voted for the broadcast angle||
for Bielfeldt's reaction alone.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||Interesting read.||
The stats may only show mild improvement, but I believe as far as a PG "eyeball test" Walton has been steadily improving in all facets for some time now. If he can continue to focus on not turning the ball over, and keeping defenses honest on him on the perimeter and in the paint, that will be more than enough.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||Yeah||
Don't know if there's consensus, but I've always viewed it just that way. Great for the basketball team though to be ranked again.

this. For the record, I still consider 2013 a pretty good year. Recency bias makes it suck, but Trey Burke + Final Four banner is not a bad year for a fan. That said, I'm having absolute daydreams of being the first team to knock Wisconsin off, and taking Sparty on their home court. I think it's nigh impossible to beat MSU away this year, Payne will go to work on our centers, but it would be awesome if it happened.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||Now I get to hypothesize about awesome OC possibilities||
Will be nice to have some other football stuff to look forward to instead of just NSD.
|10 weeks 4 days ago||He has visited UK ~ 4 times||
since he got Cal's offer. Seems destined to be a Wildcat.
|10 weeks 5 days ago||I'm pretty excited about Kam Chatman||
While the 2014 B-Ball class may not be as star studded as 2012 (or 2013, relatively speaking), it's full of great multi-year players that will be key building blocks going forward. With Chatman, Donnal, and Wilson, the wing-forward (3 and 4) depth going ahead will be great.
IMHO, biggest priority for the 2015 class right now is a high-caliber SG. Kennard would fit the bill, but seems destined for UK. Coleman is my hope there. Also will need a solid big, not sure yet who would be my first choice that's viable (not holding my breath on Zimmerman for now).
|12 weeks 2 days ago||Re: Burke||
I think the largest benefit will continue to be able to recruit PGs with the line "We see you as the next Trey Burke". Whether or not that translates to other positions I'm not so sure about. But at least for PG recruiting, it should be a big draw the better Trey does in the NBA.
|12 weeks 3 days ago||Flashback to Beilein's WVU years||
his NCAA tourney runs were with Juniors/Seniors Mike Gansey and Kevin Pittsnogle. I think the points about Beilein stripping down the offense because of NBA entrants are very true and have been echoed by some of the previous players on the team (Bartelstein comes to mind). We were spoiled with Burke these past two years and it will take some time for them to figure things out.
