Episode 10 is here. The Lannisters are on the ropes. Arya might be able to cross out a name on her Kill Bill list. The Mother of dragons is now a dragon rider. Jon Snow has his hands full with the crows and wildlings. Stannis is officially persona non grata. Enjoy!

the last two episodes have been incredible I hope the season finale lives up to billing. Will we see the end of Cersei? Stannis? Ramsey Bolton? All of them? I can't wait...

Your comments match those of a lot of.book readers. That said we've been.waiting for a resolution to this one since summer 2011. I'm very interested to see if the show or the books will solve this particular mystery first. My money is on the show.
Wasn't Jon killed outside the wall of Castle Black? I can see him joining the White Walker undead in that case. They left his body lying there. If anyone can overcome the undead "spell" from within, it would be Jon Snow.

At this point it is safe to assume the books and the TV show are going to diverge, they've already laid the ground work for.it this season. Martin has had a pretty well documented case of writers block and its not like it's going to get resolved after nearly fifteen years.

I've read the books so I'm not surprised.
I'm not as heavily invested in this story as I was though. It's still fun to track because Martin is good at laying the scene... But...
When I first started this many were hailing it because it didn't fall into formulaic good vs. evil tropes. I liked the fresh approach. Some felt that even stuff like the LOTR was lazy writing, which I think is a gross simplification, but I got their gist.
But now I think Martin has become almost a caricature. He's being as lazy as the "good guys always win"
Authors, just in the opposite direction.
Combine that with the fact he has two (stated) books left and a gazillion plot lines left and I think he's wandered into a story line a bit too deep for anyone.

I regret that I have but upvote to give. It's pretty telling that they packed Feast and Dance into one season and advanced it more than GRRM did.

It's obvious why. Those 2 books suck/slow as fuck compared to the 1st 3.
I wonder where they're gonna go from here now that they're "officially" out of book material.
I wonder if they go back to some chapters and characters they left out from earlier books ie Stoneheart, Coldhands or Brotherhood w/o Banners...
Oh and it's also funny how actresses become A list and then stop doing nudity even though they've done it in famous movies like 300... So glad Cersei got exactly what she deserved.
I have a bridge I'd like to sell them.
