OT-Game of Thrones S6 E9: Battle of the Bastards
It's not for another hour... But I like your enthusiasm.
Where you been?
Not here, apparently. Best episode EVER, though.
I hope this game 7 is a blowout so I dont have to wait as long to switch it to GoT
Watching basketball game instead of episode 9. Wow.
Then again, its an easy call for me. I no longer can stand the NBA.
championship.
A naked man holds few secrets. A flayed man holds none.
War is coming tonight, my friends. War is co I got.

It's time for the Knights of the Vale to join the fray.
To be fair, a naked man's secrets are merely well-hidden. The question is this - who dares to go looking for them? If someone dares, do they do it without first putting on the proper gear? So many interesting, disturbing questions abound in some of these statements. Usually you can tell where they are hidden if you ask them to walk briskly across the room.
You were a prison guard? Interesting.
You had me at "naked man's secrets."
While i think its fairly obvious Starks beat Boltons tongiht, i have a feeling they dont go down without a big loss. It just cannot be John. I have a feeling Sansa Stark bites the dust, although the Starks are victorious.
brings her back.
I'm calling Davis kills her

Doubt it is Sansa. Probably Rickon.

And my bold prediction is that Ramsey will survive.
Unless Sansa gets to him, and then all bets are off. Although, maybe she'd like to imprison him and let him have a taste of his own medicine.
Rectally.
Medicine... rectally. I feel like we've discussed this before.
While I doubt she dies tonight, if she does, she's taking Ramsay with her.

So... What is obvious? What is likely?
I hope we are being set up to expect little finger saves the day, rock on gets flayed and maybe tormund dies...
If it goes down like that it is the third time a huge battle was saved by a late arriving army (black water and castle black). I have to think grrm is better than that...
I think it would be awesome if john actually died... I don't want that, but it would be amazballs

The Vale saves the day, Rickon dies, Ramsay is taken prisoner and is killed next week.
I'm close to this. I think Wun Wun picks up Ramsay and hurls him against a tree. But he's not dead; he wakes up in chains in time for Jon to execute him.
Or, after the battle, as Sansa makes her return to Winterfell, she sees him lying helpless in the snow and falls upon him with her dagger, stabbing him over and over and over.
I'm anxious to see what rabbit Cersei pulls out the hat, to get out of her jam.
Wildfire.
But knowing her history of having all of her schemes blow up in her face and make things worse, she'll set all the sparrows ablaze, but accidentally take Tommen and/or Jaime down with them.
Cersei's biggest weakness is that she thinks she's a lot smarter than she actually is.

I stick by my theory that Jaime kills Cersei. Perhaps she plans to unleash wildfire, but in an ironic twist Jaime has to kill her to save Kings Landing in the same manner that he killed the Mad King. Thus, the prophecy of Maggie the Frog comes true and Cersei is killed by her younger brother; just not the one she always thought would kill her.
I never heard this before, but now that I have this just makes too much sense.
My guess is slightly different in the reasoning, but same outcome. Cercei unleashes the wildfire which unfortunately kills Tommen as well. That fulfills the first part of the prophecy. Later Jamei realizes that all of his children have been killed largely because of her actions so he kills her.
What was the name of the house that John mentioned a couple of weeks ago? My understanding is that they are a major house along with the Glovers and the Umbers. They will show up and the Umbers are not anti-Stark. They are playing the Boltons and that was not the head of Rickons dire wolf.
Manderlay ... House Manderlay. They made a point of mentioning them and sending a raven to them. They will show and be on team Stark.
Karstark, I think.
Karstarks hate the Starks now I think as Robb cut off the leaders head a few seasons ago.
Well, Robb's dead. If Ramsay loses, maybe Harald Karstark will decide it's better to bend the knee.
Manderlys
why not?
I positived you all up...
Thanks ... Winter is coming.
I don't think I've been this nervous watching something since we were playing Louisville in the title game

Remember to feed your dogs
There were some meh moments, but overall that was a great episode. Top 3-5 for sure.
Hell of an episode. Battles on both sides of the world.

Down! Down, boy! Down? Nice doggie? AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!
That is the death for him that I needed to see
I was hoping that Sansa would publically execute him in proper Stark fashion, but I was super ok with him getting fed to the dogs.
hoping for a little flay action...
The perfect ending for that bastard!
I was really hoping Ghost would show up, and Jon would be all, "you've got your little hounds, here's MINE".
Where the hell is Ghost?
