18 weeks 6 days ago	Oxford, MS	I currently live in New Orleans and work with a group of girls from Ole Miss.  They have a great outlook, fun attitude, know how to cut loose, are smart and oh yeah, are downright beautiful.  After hanging out with them for several years, they invited my wife and I to a game at Ole Miss vs LSU.  Oxford is a great small city with plenty of good music and nice architecture.  The game day experience was awesome and the off field talent was remarkable.  I have two sons that both want to attend UofM, but I have to consider that they may not get accepted there or that there might not be enough scholarships available to help with the out of state tuition so I was thinking that Ole Miss might be a better option than LSU (having been to Baton Rouge also).  But you are right, the racism is overpowering and I can't imagine how enjoyable an experience it would be for a minority and don't think that is someplace I want my kids to attend.

23 weeks 2 days ago	New Orleans Bowl	I also agree that many of these bowls are hard to understand.  I will say that Louisiana-Lafayette played in the New Orleans bowl last year and the French Quarter streets were packed with Rajin' Cajun clad fans.  The Superdome is just plain huge and getting it packed full is a chore.  I attended the Sugar Bowl last year and there were quite a few empty seats for that game as well.  I think these lesser bowls do themselves a favor by picking a team that is local and can easilly travel to the game, such as the Motor City Bowl picking Central Michigan University.  I guess as long as there is a sponsor willing to pay and the bowl exposure helps get the school's name out there, then why not let them go on?  There is definitely something that needs to change to get better teams and matchups in the New Years games though.

28 weeks 3 days ago	I definitely want to see him	I definitely want to see him get more reps in before anyone calls him the starter. More carries is what I have been wanting to see from Rawls all season. But even the carries where he was stopped at the LOS for no gain we beneficial because he has a different running style, is punishing the DL and gives the defense something else to worry about.  I really think that the carry where Toussaint broke through for a TD was at least partially due to Rawls busting up that line all day.
