Harbaugh turns us down?

Submitted by beastcoastinc on

Just got a text that Harbaugh said he wasn't going to Michigan. He will stay at STanford if he decides to stay in college, but otherwise is going to the NFL. Has anyone else heard this?

This day could get worse. Harbaugh goes to the 49ers instead of Michigan. Mallett and Arkansas (instead of Michigan) light up Ohio State. RR is either fired anyway or says screw it and goes to Pitt. Denard transfers and follows. Mallett's performance tonight places him at just about the spot on the draft board where the 49ers take him. Yesterday it was birds and fish dying in Arkansas, today it is puppies and kittens in Michigan.

There. Now what ACTUALLY ends up happening won't seem so bad.

the current laziness of posting presently. don't Google it. don't check any of the 15 threads. just make a post based upon a text from your buddy. yah, that's the ticket.

it was an interview he did and they supposedly reported it in the DetNews and ESPN...

why wouldn't you just check DetNews.com or ESPN?

BREAKING NEWS: Harbaugh has decided that if he stays in college it will be at Stanford or Michigan. Or he might go to the NFL, probably either San Fran or Denver.

I just got a text from a client wondering if we can meet for lunch tomorrow. I'm inclined to think this has some correlation to Harbaugh's decision...

The Kansas game...
A time out right before the half...

The guy in the all maize spandex suit wanders...
He wanders to mid court, why is he doing this?

He removes the mask...

He reveals that he is Jim Harbaugh.

If DB screws this up, he looks like a clown. Get Harbaugh. Whatever it takes. If your "end of season assesment" does not already have plan "A" in place, be careful with trumpeting about the said "end of season assesment" or whatever the heck it is.

This is an email someone on Scouts received from DB:

Justin, as much as it seems to be difficult right now, I need you to trust me because everything is working out how we had planned. Dont always believe what you hear...

harbaugh supposedly will meet with the 49ers today. the picture should be alot clearer within the next day or so.

i realize the tea leaves dont all point at michigan, but sometimes negotiations get tough.

not just negotiations between 49ers and harbaugh, but perhaps between him and brandon as well.

no one knows whats happened so far with harbaugh. maybe it got to the point where they talked money and the sides are just far apart.

harbaugh knows the job at michigan is his if he wants it (one would think, anyway), so he can afford to play coy. perhaps he's just trying to get michigan to up the $$$.

one can hope, anyway.

I find it funny that the original "Michigan Man" wasn't... Seriously, while the RR experiment failed I really don't think you need to have a MM at the helm. Take your time and find the right guy, because 2 or 3 coaches times 3 or 4 years and you'll be where ND is/was.

IMO, there is nothing better for college football than a strong UM and strong ND team.
