I think the shit is the middle part of the sandwich.  If you have a turkey sandwich, you're not eating a piece of bread in between two pieces of turkey.

I disagree.  You do not have…

I disagree.  You do not have to eat a poop sandwich if you don't want to.

I'm not sure it's a good…

I'm not sure it's a good chance.  I live in Louisville, and Chris Mack loves it here, and the fans LOVE him.  It'd take quite an offer to pull him away, I'm sure.

I guess it depends on what

I guess it depends on what the committee values the most after the season ends.  Do they value quality wins (UM of has beaten 3 top 10 teams) or do they value conference championships.  If they value wins, there's no way you can put Michigan behind Wisconsin or Penn State, regardless of which team wins the big ten championship.  To me, the only way Michigan gets in is if Penn State wins the Big Ten, and Washington loses the Pac 12.

They deviate a lot from the

They deviate a lot from the books on HBO, but they stick to the story line.  Start with book one.  You can see how the characters and even Martin's writing evolve throughout the story.  Also, the second season ends somewhere in the third book.  They've moved the viewpoints around quite a bit.  Jaime Lannister is freed in the third book, which happened in like episode 7, while at the end of the second book Drogon burns down the House of the Undying, which happened in the last episode.  Also there's an attempt on Dany's life at the end of the second book, which introduces two new important characters, which they left out of the mix in this season.

Start from book one.  You won't regret it.  Especially now that you know Ned Stark dies.  When he died the first time I read the books I threw it across the room, swore and stopped reading the book for a week or so.  I was angry.

Le sigh.  No.  The link should have taken you to the Notre Dame radio call of the final 30 seconds of the Michigan/Notre Dame 2011 game.  I hate the internets sometime.

Gundy certainly deserved it.

Gundy certainly deserved it.  It would have been nice if Hoke had gotten it though.

You're assuming they won't

You're assuming they won't get into any trouble because Ohio State has been saying they don't forsee anymore sanctions coming in.  These are the same people that lied about this in the first place, then lied to get the players eligible for the bowl game, then lied about this being the only time it's happened, then lied some more.

If you're trying to get Urban Meyer to come to your program, of course you say nothing is going to happen.

Something is going to happen.  They will get punished.

Sounds like a bunch of

Sounds like a bunch of buttsore fans are making excuses as to why their team lost.

Well here's why Michigan lost 9 of 10.

Jim Tressel cheated.  He had dozens of players getting money off the field that they didn't earn.  He used it as a recruiting tactic.  Then he knew they were getting money and instead of suspending them, he let them play.  Ohio was playing with ineligible players.  Troy Smith probably shouldn't have been on the team.  So we'll just take those wins and add them to Michigan's total.  AJ Hawk reported $3,000 in cash and countless other items no college student should have stolen.  We'll take away his wins too.  Then there's Pryor, Posey and Herron.  They shouldn't have been playing either.  So we'll take away those wins too.

Hey look at that.  If Ohio penalizes its players, Michigan probably wins 8 of 10.

Need teams that people care

Need teams that people care about.  Like not MSU.

I watched it already... every

I watched it already... every time Ohio scored I said "Yeah, you just wait bitches!"

Schlabach isn't the only

Schlabach isn't the only person to say this.  And I agree.  He had an awesome run, but when it wasn't there, he wanted out.  It's like when you dominate your little brother in Madden for years and he finally beats you, then you no longer feel like playing anymore.  It's fun when you win, and when you finally get beat, it's not fun anymore.  Urban is a winner, it's true.  But only because he doesn't stick around long enough to be there when the losing happens.

His records at Florida:

2010: 8-5

2009 (Tebow's last year): 13-1

2008: 13-1

2007: 9-4

2006: 13-1

2005:  9-3

He had 5 very good years by most standards.  Go going 57-10.  I'd love for Brady Hoke to go 57-10 in 5 years.  Then he had the year without Tebow.  The offense didn't work well, the defense wasn't that great and he bolted.  He knew it wasn't getting any better.  He left.  That's NOT who I'd want on the sidelines at OSU if I were an Ohio fan.

Luke Fickell may not have done well, but he was in an impossible situation and he wanted to be there for the long term.

Meyer will win with Braxton Miller and them at Ohio, but once that guy leaves, if he can't replace him with another great QB, it'll be the road for him.

Not on BTN in Louisville.

Not on BTN in Louisville.

Priceless face

Priceless face.  If you don't know what's happening and just see his face you ask...

1.  Did he just fumble the snap?

or

2.  Did he just see his parents having sex?

Guy sounds like a crybaby.

I think this game was the

I think this game was the best played by Michigan in quite some time.  The defense is so nice to watch now.  It feels go to know Michigan doesn't have to score 40 points a game to have a shot at winning.  They can score 40 points a game and blow out their opponents like many other great programs now.

JoePa is NOT scum.  He did

JoePa is NOT scum.  He did the right thing by telling his superiors what he knew.  He did the wrong thing by not calling the police.  JoePa is and always will be a legend.  I'm sad that he's retiring.  He was the one thing the Big Ten had the no other conference did.  He will also be the last FBS coach to spend that amount of time at one school.

This column makes me laugh

This column makes me laugh every week.  Love it.

Laugh.  Is spending 50 years

Laugh.  Is spending 50 years coaching at the same school, during a  time where a coach getting 10 years is amazing, and a coach coaching for 13 years puts him at Legendary status (Lloyd Carr) no longer qualify as a legend?

Joe Paterno is a legend.  Deal with it.

They also have this.

They also have this.

The MSU/Iowa match up is

The MSU/Iowa match up is interesting.  If I remember, Iowa has had MSU's number.  So a loss to Iowa, and Michigan winning out could mean michigan in the B1G championship game.

The dynamic of the Big Ten still could mean a Game Day in AA.  I was just looking at the match ups and if both teams win out, it'll be a top 15 or top 10 match up in Ann Arbor.

Nice 13 year old texting

Nice 13 year old texting there.  No, I meant to write what I wrote.  But thanks for trying.  You get an A for effort.

And really, isn't getting sued just as bad?  Now, as a member of the OSU football team, he gets to go through a nice court battle for beating this guy up.  And if he loses the lawsuit, then he's guilty of assault, therefore he'll be charged.

Thinking is healthy.  Try doing it before you bash a person who posts.

I read that Gene Smith said

I read that Gene Smith said the same thing.  He's gone if he is charged.  Here he's being charged and as is status quo for OSU, they're waiting for the big game to be over before he's gone.  It's likely we'll see Devier Posey on the field for the Michigan game.

Anyone who sides with Sparty

Anyone who sides with Sparty on anything is an idiot.

Roughing the passer penalties

Roughing the passer penalties happen.  Sometimes it's hard to control yourself running at full speed in the game.  I'm fine with the first one.  The second one the guy could have stopped himself.  The twisting of the head, the arm bar, the punch.  Uncalled for.  When Gholston gets suspended for a game or two, I hope the opposing offense runs to that side every damn down to take advantage.

Nope.  I won't stop calling

Nope.  I won't stop calling them little brother.  They have a classless coach, thug players and no respect for the game of football.  They can eat a big fat one.

I just don't see Jim Delany

I just don't see Jim Delany overlooking this.  I think when he hears of the... 3 or 4 roughing the passer calls, he takes a look at everything.  I think even #44 on MSU gets a game suspension.  Throwing the QB to the ground 4 seconds after he released the ball?  Dantonio should also be disciplined, as should Narduzzi.  Dantonio is supposed to instill Big Ten values in his guys.  He's not.  Narduzzi shouldn't be saying that personal foul penalties are ok by him.  That's unacceptable for any coach at any position in the Big Ten.  That's not the Big Ten I grew up watching.  If Dantonio is really worried about winning that much, then he should recruit better and game plan better.  Not resort to "get their star injured and we'll win the game" strategy.  That's childish and pathetic.  The reason Mark Dantonio never smiles is because he's a terrible human being on the inside.

Nah.  This is Ty Willingham's

Nah.  This is Ty Willingham's fault.  If his recruiting classes were better we wouldn't be in this problem.

Gene Smith will be lucky to

Gene Smith will be lucky to be the AD at Ohio next year.  So when does the NCAA completely crush them?  These problems keep coming out, obviously they don't have control over this program and it's problems.

Thanks guys, just got an email saying it was my 500th post.  If you want sweater puppies from Oregon, Tigerdroppings posted this:

Tigerdroppings actually has 2 whole threads about the Oregon cheerleaders.  Musta been nice to focus on them on not your team bc your team was winning so badly.

I'm done posting this stuff for fear of banhammer haha.  Oregon has some hot cheerleaders for being the Pacific Northwest...
