Urban did it while he was at OSU in 2012.  I remember because it was ND-Bama, and Bama wouldn't have even been there if OSU was eligible.

Urban picked ND to win, lol.

This doesn't really seem like Harbaugh's cup of tea so I'm surprised he's doing it.  He doesn't really have a great media personality.

And yet another reason for my "Fuck the NFL" stance. Every single piece of attire worn on or near the field of play must go through their approval. Shit, do they make sure the players are wearing league accepted jockstraps? Wouldn't want to be the person with that job....

Love how he was on the Ravens side line on national TV.  Now NTG.  Amazing exposure.

Harbs is a genius and a jackhammer.  His work ethic and approach are unparalleled.

I can't f'ing wait for next fall.

Busy weekend if he plans on being at Ravens game Saturday afternoon. Over / Under times NBC shows him this week? Last week I think he was showed at least 4 or 5 times throughout the telecast.

My Sparty co-worker hates how much coverage Harbaugh is getting, says he "can't get away from the guy" (most recently seeing him during the Ravens playoff game).

Good, keep up the exposure.

I know. The other day, my legal assistant came into my office and said, "You went to Michigan, right? Congratulations on that new coach. You're gonna have a good team." This is a Vietnamese lady who lives in Seattle and does not watch sports unless you count figure skating.

Same experience with Sparty friends. Gripe about all the exposure Harbaugh gets then immediately continue to yelp about their recent accomplishments. I always give credit where it's due with my friends. However, I try to also point out that their response seems to justify something Hart said awhile back.

he becomes "ill" and wants to spend time with family only to take an ESPN gig covering games they admit he "wasn't home much". All year we got urban & spielman covering our games or other B1G games. He got to essentially scout the conference (not that he needed to) to see how much of a cake job he was walking into, he had spielman basically recruiting him to osu each week (not that he needed to as urb just wanted it of UF/SEC) and he could talk about recruits (!) during coverage. As you could guess, he often did. When it became too obvious he was taking the osu job he stopped right before The Game. He didn't announce that one as he was essentially their coach by then. He's used primetime media to politic to get two different teams into the title game on top of that. I have no issue with Harbaugh being a part of the coverage in any capacity. Show your face, let the others bring up the fact that osu is playing for one but UM will soon be back in the title race, let them bring up how great of a hire he was, etc. Let recruits & CFB know their on fucking notice without saying it. I'm ok with this. We fans just have to be ready for a couple years of building. We aren't playoff contenders next year and likely the year after. Once we get rolling, watch out. I like it.

My best guess is he'll be in the coaches' tape room -- alternative feed with Spielman and coaches making intelligent commentary. And then Matt Millen saying dumb things. Either way, it's a great PR opportunity to show our coach and program at our best.

Exposure is exposure. Not that Harbaugh needs it.

Hopefully his presence will somehow facilitate OSU losing. I'd really rather not listen to an already full of itself fanbase tell the world that they're the second coming.

Huge, consistent publicity, during this recruiting dead period will likely end up very well for us once contact is allowed again.

Can some of us please stop acting like Spartoons and realize when we celebrate crap like this it makes us look weak?
