Here's another look at that 4.26 forty time:

Here's a look at that 4.26 speed blazing on the field, coming in from the top of the picture:

His top PFF grade might be helping him get into the 1st Round too:

Seems like DBs at Michigan have improved under the guy who looks great in shades.

Unbelievable work by the players, coaches and training staff to elevate and develop these Michigan men the past few years.

So excited to see what Clink does with Amarion Walker this year.  6.4 corner that already runs a 4.4....yes sir!

That would be awesome if he sneaks into the 1st round. I think his size will probably knock him down to round 2 though.

I hope start seeing more players going earlier and earlier in the draft and making a big impact. I would be shocked if Mazi and Turner last longer than the 2nd round.

This says a lot about the program and development. I was thinking 4th or 5th round. Like a similar prospect as Vincent Gray. I thought that Will and Mikey were more impactful at the end of the season.

Uh… what? Not only is Turner head and shoulders above Gray as a player, his athletic profile alone is enough to set him apart. Turner was never going past the third round once he was able to display is athleticism at the combine. NFL GMs eat that stuff up.

He’s an excellent press corner that has some issues with tackling and needs to get stronger so he doesn’t get bullied by physical WRs, but to the right team I can see him sneaking into the first round. Barring an unforeseen character flaw, there’s no way he goes after the 3rd round.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I thought he wasn't a great corner.  Yes he could keep up with the receiver but it seemed like he never turned his head around to see the ball.  Basically a faster Vincent Grey.

As others have pointed out - coaching and development.

Out of curiosity - I would be interested in whether Michigan players capture these metrics when they join the team, prior to beginning their S&C.   It would be an interesting “before and after” comparison.

Wishing all the best for DJ in his future.

On the Yang side to this Yin, I’ve seen a mock recently that had Mike Morris going in the fifth-round.  He had been in the second-round of most mocks before the combine.
