Darboh says WRs took reps from both QBs in practice today

Not sure what it means overall (given all the misinformation that will happen this week) but good to hear in my opinion.

Speight will play in this game there's no way Harbaughs sitting him out especially if he doesn't believe in OKorn. It seemed like last week Harbaugh was playing OKorn just to rest up Speight based on his playcalling

all year long, we have seen that sweep with Shane leading, as if he is a pulling blocker extraordinaire.    hopefully, the Bucknuts will see it and recognize it.    but   this weekend, I expect to see a long pass off a fake sweep.

I really do think both will play...and for one or two games, we'll be fine. It's not like some controversy will come from it.

I think they'll give Speight the plays where they know they can keep him clean. As I've been saying over and over...it's not throwing that's the problem, it's taking a hit on that shoulder and getting back up.

Give Speight the obvious passing situations. I wonder how he's doing handing the ball off with his left hand/arm. But anyway, give him the plays with quick reads/quick drops or max protection.

Anything with a reasonable chance to get your QB hit, like a deep drop, a slow developing play, a read option where he can get hit even if he gives the ball...those go to O'Korn.

Harbaugh's a wizard at giving guys only what they can handle and excel at and having them master those things. I'm hopeful he can do it with the QB position. I'd add Peppers in there as well. Let him get more snaps than he's gotten and let him GIVE the ball to Smith to keep the D honest.

A 3 headed monster, even injured, backup level, etc. could keep OSU off balance enough that we find some serious success. As long as everyone knows their role ahead of time and we're not messing around trying to get a feel for who is the best option. Just give them each their duties and see if we can't pull this thing out with everyone being great at what he does.

I agree he's been better as a decoy. It's part that teams key on him and frankly partly that the coaches have not done a good job of finding ways to get him the ball in space. He'd probably do better as a slot where one guy had to cover him than as wildcat where all 11 are out to get him.

Someone supposedly in the know with connections to the AA hospital said on Mlive Sunday that Wilton Speight had Grade 1 AC joint sprain.

If that is true, then he will most likely play.  I am no doctor, but I play one on MGoBlog.

Either way, OSU is going to blitz a ton. They will blitz because O'Korn is gun shy and they will blitz because Speight will be fragile.
