Thank you. I tried that and it came out all messed up.

What did the five fingers say to the face?

(Allegedly, all you have to say is IZZO and everything will be ok)

I thought Matt Wile made that up. Yes, I am serious.

Wow, as much as I and most reasonable human beings with a conscience despise men who lack self control and think it's ok to harm women, this title has got to be changed. I foresee absolute chaos in this thread's future. There are much more articulate ways of phrasing this.

Like 'Brandon Wood (Allegedly) Beats Women'?

Changed.

While I'm not in the habit of defending thuggery, let's not forget that in this country, Mr. Wood is innocent until convicted.

He is only alleged of beating one woman, so it's sort of a misleading title, but your point that there seems to be a trend of MSU basketball players and their criminal records is taken. Let's see how this plays out.
Let's not forget that Josh Furman was just accused of something similar, and he was found not guilty on all three counts (assault, domestic violence, illegal entry).

Unfortunate for his future and the young lady involved.
April 30th, 2012 at 11:31 AM ^
The lady was 32. It might be kind of a stretch to call her "young".

Damn it. This means I'm old too.

Funny how people treat someone from MSU compared to how they treated the Josh Furman incident when the two are pretty similar.
April 30th, 2012 at 11:36 AM ^
Wasn't Josh Furman accused of trying to fight a guy? As opposed to hitting a woman? Seems a little different to me

Wood is being charged with battery, assault, and criminal trespass.
Furman was charged with domestic violence, assault, and illegal entry.
Those look pretty similar.
I completely agree. My point was that, from a legal standpoint and looking at the charges they are/were both facing, the instances seem pretty similar.
not incidences, but who's counting? I'm just sayin'.
April 30th, 2012 at 11:38 AM ^
Similair as in they were both accused of something after a situation that involved women? Because the two cases diverge pretty quickly after that.
April 30th, 2012 at 12:26 PM ^
Common guys they are VERY similar. Let's look:
1. Both involved athletes
2. Both involved women
3. Both involved police
Let's be real - if they situations were any closer together it would be like this crazy deja-vu thing were history actually did repeat itself exactly. Groundhog day if you will.
but my degree from Michigan makes me uncommon. It's the Michigan difference.

Have you ever gotten in a verbal altercation with a guy (at a bar perhaps) and were restrained from fighting them? Under your airtight logic, that means you hit a woman.
Have you ever heard of the word sarcasm?
I thought I would be safe leaving off the "s" at the bottom of my post given the completely over-the-top and ridiculous conclusion I drew. Sadly....no.
Wasn't responding to you...

Didn't Craig James play for Izzo?
Didn't Craig James also allegedly kill 5 hookers while not playing for Izzo?

Between Sparty's football and basketball teams, it's obvious to anyone who wants to look that neither coach teaches his players to have any respect for women. As long as both Mark Dantonio and Tom Izzo continue to reward players for such behavior, where is their motivation to become good citizens?
Traditions, both positive and negative, are passed from coach to player and from player to player in any program.
Why on earth would any parent want his son to go to such a cesspool?

Wow Tater this is an incredible reach for a trolling attempt...even for you.
Why would Izzo even respond. His job is over and done with.
