Iowa beating UNC 5-2 on ESPN, Notre dame beating MSU 18-16 on ESPN2, and Virginia Tech beating PSU 15-10 on the U.

Iowa holding tough.  MSU reminds me a bit of an old Carr team that is trying to just win with tradition and its name, not actual talent on the court.  Just an ugly team to watch.

Valentine 12.0 after camp sanderson. Love me some point forwards, Valentine is quality, you can tell hes a coach's son.

Nice shot at the end there, but too little too late for MSU. Odd to see the spartans at 5-3, but they always get better as the season goes on. Gonna be a tight Big Ten season again.

You may very well be correct, but last year I remember MSU was the team that caught fire in the Big Ten Tournament and started rolling. They'll get better throughout the season just like Michigan will.

The past three years before that though they weren't really any better in march than the rest of the year. Last year they were better because they got all of their starters back and still only made the elite 8 with an elite lineup. This year's team is terrible they won't make the sweet 16 with these guys.

Should have been over in regulation. At some point I'm going to do a study on Izzo's effects on refs. I can't believe the calls this guy gets year after year.
