Just because it seemingly is a UGA/UM battle does not mean it is.  The kid is from freaking Alabama.  Even if Nico was committed here, we wouldn't feel comfortable about this until the LOI comes in.  The Tide will be a factor in this up until the very end as long as they want him.

Wow Saban sure seems to be toxic amung his staff. They are probably going to get tired of him down there. Must be hard to work for since all his staff is leaving. I bet he goes back to the NFL.

I mean you literally could replace the word Harbaugh for Saban in what you just wrote and it would be verbatim what you'd read on OSU Bama Clemson and MSU boards...

Something about glass houses. A hard charging coach who rubs some people raw and has a massive work ethic and win now mentality and loses guys off his staff every year?  Rumored by jealous rivals to go to the NFL as a way to weaken the program... umm....

To the OP - wake me up when Saban leaves.  No one is not going to Bama because of a WR coach.

Alum96, if that's your opinion on Harbaugh then you need to wake the hell up. When you see Jim yell at one of his staff members when the team is up like 40 points, then come at us with that bullshit. You will never see Jim chew out his offensive coordinator like Saban did Kiffin this past season. No matter what the score. Saban is a fucking extreme psycho when any little shit goes a little bit wrong. Jim is a little wacky and querky to be jokingly about things. Referees really piss him off because they are biased and crooked assholes. Big difference there pal. Stop reading them idiots boards also.

Don't see how this affects Collins recruitment whatsoever. Georgia probably leads slightly at this point despite what the magic orbs have to say. Michigan could still pull this kid up to AA and sure he would be better for it in the long run. Football staffs are always going to have turnover.. Especially successful programs. These coaches are climbing the ladder and there are people willing to give them a shot at the next level... We're seeing it in our own program and will continue to see it...Maybe with more volatility as we strive forward to a Natty

It was Georgia, Michigan, Bama anyway...

Now Georgia, Michigan........Bama.

...have we figured out for sure we'll take both Martin and Collins?

Also, what's the rest of the board look like? Solomon and Gay are both huge question marks. Becton seems to be trending away as does both DB options.

If we end up with just Martin that will 1. be disappointing and 2. mean we need to get some grad transfers in here and 3. mean we should've kept guys like Dave Dawson the best we could even if it was to provide a couple snaps as a DT.

An anticipated class of 32 down to 27 is a rough finish, no doubt about it.

Who's on a ledge?

You can be disappointing and not going overboard, suicidal, etc.

There's a middle ground there. No one said it wasn't a great class. I think you're being too sensitive, it's okay to be critical.

I realize there are too many "Harbaugh can't close" people who don't know what they're talking about. But it's okay to be disappointed in this finish if Martin is all we finish with - a player we could've had months ago if we didn't hold off for Collins. Plus 4-5 spots short.

Still some time, Norfleet/Higdon sleepers may still arise, but you can be a little disappointed in the finish and still think it's a great class. It's a top 5 class.
