More of a nail biter than anyone would like (make a free throw, arrrgh!!) Still great effort against the vaunted 2-3 zone! On to the Cardinals!!! Go Blue!!

Feels more like 1989 actually  #YeahI'mEvenOlder:

We unexpectedly win a tough game against a perennial National Championship contender to make the Elite Eight which fuels our Tournament run (UNC)

We crush a vaunted blue and orange team to make the Final Four (Virginia)

We hold on to beat another blue and orange team with last second heroics by a player that did not always show up big (Higgins)

So . . . I guess it means that we win the National Championship on Monday with free throws (yes, they terrified us in 1989 too, we lost a couple big games that year on missed FT's)

But But their 2-3 zone is unstoppable and Belein is 0-9 against Boheim.....So glad his first win against him was in the final four and got us to the championship. GO BLUE
