New Belgium sunshine wheat, bud light, and 7 & 7s. Should be fun.
September 24th, 2010 at 9:11 PM ^
Can be a really baaaaaaaad idea.....
September 24th, 2010 at 8:56 PM ^
Bell's is really good beer.
I am drinking bourbon. I only drink bourbon. Usually Wild Turkey 101 or some nice Rare Breed.
September 24th, 2010 at 10:32 PM ^
Still enjoy whiskey - but now can't fathom drinking the Mark again.
Pappy Van Winkles 23 year old is my current favorite, but had Wild Turkey 101 last night.

Sam Adams Oktoberfest
September 24th, 2010 at 9:19 PM ^
Cheers to that my friend... it was either that or Anchor Steam... had to go with the seasonal edge. Pretty solid
September 24th, 2010 at 9:27 PM ^
and now back to some Blue
September 24th, 2010 at 9:32 PM ^
nice to see your supporting the Canadian economy with the Blue (although, editorially, it's far from our best)
September 24th, 2010 at 8:57 PM ^
Half Guinness, Half Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. Better than a Black and Tan, IMO
September 24th, 2010 at 10:35 PM ^
An interesting combination that I had not thought of.
+1

Rocks.
September 24th, 2010 at 9:21 PM ^
Don't know what it is, but I can only go Maker's on the rocks. maybe it's an allegiance to the fact I did one of those survey things where i got paid a couple of hundred bucks to drink maker's and explain my whiskey preferences.

New Holland Ichabod. Best Fall Beer there is....
September 24th, 2010 at 9:13 PM ^
I love Ichabod. That, along with Bell's Oktoberfest is the best one-two punch of the year. I love fall for beer, football and hunting. Try Arcadia Jaw Jacker if you like Ichabod.
September 24th, 2010 at 8:59 PM ^
Woo! I'm out of control! ;)
I'll have a shot (or more) of Jamesons later...

Stone cold red burgundy. The sweet nectar of pre-victory.
September 24th, 2010 at 9:04 PM ^
I've been drinking a lot of Belgian beers lately, but my wife brought this back from Buffalo for me.
September 24th, 2010 at 10:44 PM ^
Brought Arrogant Bastard back from Buffalo?
I'm from Buffalo (and now go to UM). Labatt Blue is so popular in Western New York that Labatt decided to open up a brewing plant in Buffalo, which now services the northeast. Ask anyone in Buffalo what their favorite beer is, and chances are it's Labatt.
Of course, in Rochester (NY) there is the the Genesee Brewing Company, infamous makers of Genny Light and Genny Cream Ale (aka Screamers for all the poor college kids in WNY that have to succumb to drinking it...whose name refers to what happens the morning after).
September 24th, 2010 at 9:06 PM ^
Still a tad early but, Sam Adams Octoberfest

September 24th, 2010 at 9:09 PM ^
Unfortunatly nothing tonight.
Tomorrow though will be another story.
September 25th, 2010 at 2:33 AM ^
I offer my condolences on being stuck with that name.

Arcadia Ales Jaw Jacker
September 24th, 2010 at 9:14 PM ^
Belgian-style Wit Bier. Really good stuff. Never had it before, and the local supermarket had a case of single bottles, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll pick up some more.
Flying Dog is brewed in Frederick, MD. I was previously unfamiliar with their products, but if the Belgian white is any indication, these guys are the real deal.

September 24th, 2010 at 10:47 PM ^
The tears of a thousand patulous virgins.
September 24th, 2010 at 9:16 PM ^
but I'm going to hang onto that for a good occasion. Right now it's a pinot grigio...and I had cheese earlier... that's right I am a member of the wine and cheese crowd and I'm not afraid to admit that.
September 24th, 2010 at 9:20 PM ^
I'm sick! [Fear not, I'm still going to the game, and I will give a report of my on-the-field experience.]
Go Blue! (I want a beer....)
September 24th, 2010 at 9:21 PM ^
Dry. Picture a basketball as the olive.

September 24th, 2010 at 9:34 PM ^
Kool-aid, my friend. All season.
September 24th, 2010 at 9:38 PM ^
My personal favorite flavor is Heisman Kool-aid. It's 1 part dilithium, 1 part dreads, and 2 untied shoes.
September 24th, 2010 at 9:39 PM ^
So good I had to say it twice apparently.
September 24th, 2010 at 9:37 PM ^
Wife is working on baby number two and money is a bit tight so tonight's beverage of choice is whatever I can find. Started with Parrot Bay and Coke Zero (why yes, I am pretending to be a woman, how could you tell?) Now onto a newly discovered bottle of Bacardi Limon that was hiding in the garage.
September 24th, 2010 at 11:24 PM ^
I just discovered a bottle of tequila that had been left in our freezer after a party and realized that free tequila + lime + seltzer = better than spending money on new alcohol.
September 24th, 2010 at 9:50 PM ^

And so are the announcers of the TCU-SMU game, by the way.
