Rob Gray (The Man Bun) responds to Michigan fans
AKA "The Man Bun" responds to Michigan fans via twitter.
You Michigan fans are real savages with the trash talk, but I can take it just as well as I dish it out! Congrats on the crazy win and good luck in the sweet 16! #Madness #LongLiveTheManBun

But dude can ball.
Losing with dignity and class , well done young man
class after a tough game - props to him.
hope he finds success in life, as well as a new haircut.
Hey, mucho respect for Man Bun. He brought it. I'm just glad we booted that ass.
I'll admit I hated him, his stupid man-bun and his bratty brother *during* the game. Afterwards, though - a ton of respect for him game. Hope he balls out in the NBA and hope his lil' bro makes bank being his agent.
It's because his big brother was torching us with 3's. I mean, I don't *actually* think the kid was a brat, but if any of us were calm, measured, and upstanding people during game, would we be on MGoBlog?
There is a difference between being emmotional and directing those emmotions on to a kid. I was up and down throughout that game, the idea of directing those downs on to a kid never crossed my mind. I was unhappy most of the time they showed the kid, but that's because his brother just scored not because of the kid.
Agreed. It's stuff like this that makes me like this board the least after we win.
Yeah, the coverage was a bit much, but I actually like seeing the family of players. Like it was nice to see Mo's mom at the game cheering him on. I actually appreciate the bond between parent's and their kids or siblings.
I like watching Gray's dad get excited with his little bro. I thought, it looks like he comes from a good family and based on his behavior after the game maybe it's true.
good player.. literally a man (24 yr old) versus boys...
but he made a ton of tough shots...not a fan of the man bun, but you shoot the rock like that and you pretty much can wear your hair however you like it.. Props to him... he's a gamer
not a fan of the brother's antics, but he's a kid...blame the director more for cutting to him all the time...once was more than enough to provide background color
Am I supposed to know what the "savage" activity was on the part of "Michigan fans"?
Not sure if he's talking about fans at the game or on social media? If it's social media, there's always some bad apples on social media that harass players on twitter. Usuaully there in their tweens.
The moment that I find out that this is all about Twitter, is the moment that I go from not caring, to something less than that.
He died like a viking.
Talented guy, good competitor. But it is almost impossible to ask people to not extrapolate the decision-making that goes into having a manbun to the decision-making in other aspects of his life. It's like pretending like a neck tattoo doesn't say something about someone's character.
I'm joking. Mostly.

I never thought of that reason for having a manbun. I wonder if it's too late for me? Nah, i think I've passed the threshold to where a cover up is ill-advised.
The season would end to man bun and mini bun was starting to creep into my head. That would have stung. Thank god and Go Blue

a) You keep the talk about stuff happening on the court. Don’t make it personal and bring someone’s mom/wife into the mix.
b) If you give trash talk, you’d better be ready to get it in return and not complain one ounce about it when you do.
Seems like he fits the bill on both of those. Good competitor. Best of luck to him.
Love his game, hated his whining. The sportmanship here is great though. Think I may actually like the guy now.
Good on him, he really can score if even gets a little bit of space. Glad we won't be playing him again.
He scored the most points in 2 Tourney rounds since Steph Curry. That's something. Best of luck.
that dude can roll, man. Tip the hat.
I think Gray is the classic example of the guy who is real easy to hate when he's playing against you. (And I admit, in the heat of the game, I directed several loud comments at the TV that questioned his parentage.)
But if he's on your team, you love him. And frankly, I think he would've looked pretty damn good in maize & blue.
And as far as the man bun goes, I'm hardly in a position to comment on anyone's hair. At my age, I'm lucky I still have mine.
I don't care he shushed the crowd. Love the competitive fire. Kid can play. And his tweet actually shows some class where most players would have shown their frustration at losing the way they did. Hate the bun, but respect his game. Hope he gets a chance in the NBA.
all of us glorying in it.
I mean he was 50% closer to us than Michigan state was to Syracuse, it was a solid loss.
Man Bun,
Ends his run,
One and done,
Sweet 16 fun!
Nice to see not-so-easily offended, non-snowflake players are still around
