No charges in any of these, all of this is alleged. Way to throw someone under the bus. Police determined that his girlfriend was the agressor in one, the other two, and I quote
Both altercations involving teammates occurred while each was alone with Brown in the locker room. The Emerald spoke to several former and current players who said they heard about them through others on the team.
So we have one situation that doesn't look great but also resulted in no charges, and two other situations where this website isn't even naming their sources of these incidents.

I am not sure this is a reasonable thread topic. Michigan has recruited bad dudes before. Taylor Lewan is a complete asshole to name one.
Brown committed elsewhere several years ago. We pursued him as a recruit and it didn't go our way. Not sure what the point of this is.

I was told by folks familiar with Chaparral when he was being recruited by MICHIGAN that he was a dickhead and not all that bright. I hold no grudges against him but his poor decision making both on and off the field at times seemed to corroborate the rumors I'd heard in Scottsdale.

Chris Clark transferred to Pitt. He's redshirting this year and should be eligible in 2017.

Speaking of "What ever happened to..." Anyone know how Demar Dorsey ended up?
Last I remember he went to GRCC, and then thought I heard something about Hawaii after GRCC dropped program.

He played a season of Arena Football a couple years ago. I don't know what happened to him after that. He fell off the map after all the hype.

Do you mean he is a headless trunk of stone? That we look on his works and despair?
I can see your point.

isn't a big deal, but it's weird that they both happened when the participants were alone. The choking of his girlfriend, though. . .

Neither the University of Oregon nor the football team has taken public disciplinary action against Brown regarding the three incidents.
One of those incidents is a domestic violence case involving Brown allegedly choking his girlfriend. But he's good at the footballs, so why investigate/prosecute? Situation has "Jayru Campbell" written all over it, but worse.
It's a football cultural problem, and ends up with cases of entitled scum like Ben Roethlisberger, Ray Rice and Aaron Hernandez. Is Brown actually guilty of these assaults? Hard to tell when the school and team won't do a thing about the allegations.
It's a hell of a lot of smoke, though. A hell of a lot of smoke.

I hope you stretched, because you did some intense gymnastics there. I don't know how you read my comment to state that Brown did a Ray Rice knockout move. Unless you're just itching for an argument.
To be clear, I never assumed he was guilty - those are your words. I accused the school and the team of not looking into this as I believe they should. Three incidents of accusations of violence are a lot. (As a matter of fact, I specifically used the word "allegedly" and also noted we did not know if he was guilty. You'd know that if you had read my entire comment. ;-) ) To wit:
Is Brown actually guilty of these assaults? Hard to tell when the school and team won't do a thing about the allegations.
That stated, I've done a little work (years ago) on the domestic violence front and I agree that - in isolation - it's a leap to state conclusively that Brown choked her. The accused are entitled to their side of the story, and it's fundamental to our system to have the process play out.
I would not overvalue Brown's girlfriend's reconciliation in looking at this. You'll note that Ray Rice's victim is now Ms. Rice. Domestic violence is funny that way. Just because a couple later makes nice does not mean that the act didn't happen. You see it over and over again in domestic violence situations.
Also, I have picked people up by their shoulders. It hasn't left them visibly bruised.
And by reading the whole article, I saw two other instances of violence with teammates. It all points to someone with anger-management issues. Don't know if you missed that in your rush to write your diatribe.
I stand by my earlier statement. Three separate accusations are a shit-ton of smoke.

but that doesn't mean we didn't dodge a bullet with Brown, either. When one person is involved in three violent altercations with three different people, that's generally not a good sign.
