Colorado continues to troll MICHIGAN!

Submitted by Tbone67 on

Good morning fellow MGOBLOGGERS! I found this ESPN article to be quite humorous.

Its a mini tweet war full of gifs between Michigan & colorado athletic depts. that pertain to their fake depth chart. It goes back and forth for a while until MICHIGAN shuts it down by tweeting we will settle it on Saturday. Colorado does respond to that tweet but i will let you read that one for yourself. Enjoy!

Yeah, it's all in good fun until Saturday. I do feel like each of Hawaii ("we didn't get the scrimmage video"), UCF (Scott Frost general jerk-store behavior), and now Colorado are trying to get their digs in during Michigan week. Let them.

This is fun.  Who thought UM-CU could provide this kind of entertainment.  Anyone see OSU or Alabama getting into a twitter/gif war?  I mean, it's JUST college football -- purely for entertainment purposes.  So let it be entertaining.  Why so serious, Urbs?  And Nick -- is THAT how you treat employees?  C'mon guys.

and nothing wrong with having a little fun and a few laughs before the game. Don't think it adds motivation for anyone, more or less just some equipment managers having a few laughs.

Agree. I don't see how people think this is trolling. UM doesn't release a depth chart so Colorado had a little fun with it. Same with the uniform combination. I don't see the issue with either, it's not like they've said or done anything offensive or that could be used as motivation.

"Look at their uniforms, they wore those 22 years ago, let's stick it to 'em"

I like it.  I would buy a Colorado fan a beer in appreciation of their light-hearted take on the "rivalry," and support playing them more often.  This is so much more clever and fun than the usual 31 flavors of "F___ Michigan!" that we get from other B1G schools.

I wouldn't classify this as trolling at all. I think it makes a probably one sided and boring game more fun. That's what college football should be, or really all sports for that matter. I viewed the Hawaii stuff the same way. The "outhitting" stuff after UCF was ridiculous though.

Very happy that CU is poking the bear so to speak. Makes this game more entertaining. Michigan has no problem with media exposure being ranked #4. CU can use all the help it can get in that department at the moment.

It is all in good fun and I hope the teams provide a great game on Saturday.
