My 11 year old son has, for the last 3 years, referred to Rutgers as "The Rutgers". Despite my repeated attempts to correct him, he still calls them "The Rutgers". Turns out he's been right this whole time.
Anyone have any opinions on whether or not it would be cheaper to buy tickets up front or would it be cheaper to wait and try to get some via the secondary market? I'm just not sure what the demand is like for these soccer games.
It wasn't that hard of a week. He said it himself in the post game presser....losing to Middle Tennessee was tougher. No wonder they don't want that idiot to talk.
Those bozos can't even pronounce player names properly. They repeat all of the media narratives for every team and then pick OSU.
DiNardo said last night that their analysis on MSU last year wasn't wrong, they were a bad football team because of all of their internal issues. Okay Jerry.
I wasn't crazy about the all white uniforms at first but I have grown to like them a lot. I don't think I could ever say the same about these. They are awful.
I remember it being very windy that day in the stadium. That doesn't let him off the hook completely but the conditions were tough. 140 yards passing that day would have been a respectable number.
I think he promised Zaire the job because 1) He wanted to secure the transfer and 2) He legitimately thought he could win it. Now Zaire isn't picking things up fast enough and isn't ready and mcelwain is torn about what to do.
They gushed over D'Antoni and MSU last year. All of their analysis on Sparty and their ability to "reload" was hot garbage.
Much like this year, Michigan refused to move their practice time which delayed their broadcast to the following day. When they got to MSU they raved about how they always felt "so welcome in East Lansing" which I'm certain was a shot at JH. I hope Jim snubs them for an interview again this year.
MSU players on now. Chris Frey provided this gem in regards to educational classes the team had to take about sexual assualt: "It just adds to our knowledge of what we already know". Dumb AF.
EDIT: He also just added that he proposed to his gf on April Fool's day. What a lucky girl.
I think Michigan is taking the team to Europe for spring practice. Perhaps in an attempt to say "hey this isn't about recruiting after all"? Again I am wildly speculating based on 3 things - a previous post from umbig11 in another thread and tweets from MGoBlog and Nick Baumgartner.
They did mention something about that on the Canadian broadcast on TSN. 5 hole goals look great when they go in but if they don't you look kind of foolish because it looks like you just shot the puck right at the goalie's pads. It is a risky choice in a high profile game but the kid made a great shot.
Both teams had their chances to win in OT. Parsons was great. When it went to a shootout I told my sons that the US had the advantage because they had the better goaltender. As a Canadian I wasn't happy with the outcome but it was an entertaining game. It never feels good to lose but we Canadians have been spoiled over the years and the US team deserved it just as much.
I think they will be looking to poach some 3 star DT's that are committed to other programs as it looks like Solomon and Tufele are going elsewhere. I don't have a clue who they will be but I can't imagine the staff letting this class go by without adding some depth at that position.
There was clearly a pick with the thumb. I don't think he ate the booger, but he definitely thought about it. He brings his fingers and thumb back up to his mouth and the thumb is leading the way but he catches himself and slides the thumb away from his mouth just in the nick of time.

Amazing writing Ace. I hope you feel better soon and find the answers that you are looking for.
This might be the greatest post I've ever seen.
Edit: posted in the wrong place....damn it! This was supposed to be in response to UM2k1's post about getting a Little Brother and Vendredi.
Twix is the only candy bar with the cookie crunch!

Who could forget that BBW Bowl - it was a classic!

Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 can Campbell's Chicken Gumbo Soup
Mustard
Fresh Rolls
Cheese
Directions:
1. Combine ground beef and onion in large skillet. Brown over medium heat, stirring occasionaly. Drain fat.
2. Stir in Chicken Gumbo soup and mustard (more mustard = more flavor)
3. Serve on buns/rolls with slice of whatever cheese you prefer (I use apple smoked cheddar)

If true they would be losing the only piece of their offense.
I have never seen this before either. Wow.

this is less of a hypothetical than you think
mgoblog added,
I didn't choose the word "Europe" for my health.

Any idea if it will be live streamed on MGoBlue?
Can they take this asshat and get him off of our airwaves?
My oldest son was born on Friday the 13th. Including the day he was born, this is the 3rd time in his life that his birthday has fallen on a Friday.

If you have athletic ability and you can catch, you will catch it. If you can't catch then this becomes an excuse.
I used to find my left handed QB's at the Leftorium but sadly it closed down.
What are the early predictions for a possible replacement?
