Almost every mock I've seen has him going to the Vikings, or available to the Vikings and them picking a different WR. I haven't seen any mocks in the last few weeks, and I honestly can't remember any at all, with him in top 10.
...the Vikes grab Jaylon Smith either very late on Day 2 or very early on Day 3.
I think this is less likely than the Treadwell wish. I just do not see Smith making past the middle of the 3rd at the very latest. I think he actually goes in the second.
Fellow Vikes fan here. I'll be happy with any of the top flight, bigger, wide receivers or a quality OT. Vikes tend do pretty well with the draft, recently, so I'm looking forward to the next few days.
Anyone EXCEPT Jack Conklin.
First time I've cared about the draft in years (outside of seeing when UM guys get picked), since I haven't had a team for 25+ years. Sadly, it's hard to be excited about the #1 pick.

Michael Thomas, Cardale Jones and Noah Spence all made this "do not draft" list.

OSU will have a great draft but I see a lot of busts.
There's also the huge character red flags of Elliott and Bosa.

Interesting read about Bosa and Elliott. That's now the second time I've heard something of that nature concerning OSU:

I will again be performing my yearly ritual-prayer for the Lions to improve their offensive line. It will be in vain.
And please bring in someone half-viable behind Stafford, be it in the draft, FA, trade, whatever.
I suppose if I had a team it would be the Detroit Lions, so I want them to pick Connor Cook. I'd love to see his career go down in flames.

I'd like the Lions to pick Treadwell. We already know how hard he plays while making more money than I'll ever see.

Or OL, best available of LB, DT or OL.
Not sure how people are able to identify and root for NFL teams. I will just root for the Michigan players to land in places where their careers can flourish.
By living in the general vicinity of a NFL team
As my team drafted Prince fucking Shembo and that went as fucking predictably as could be imagined. I am now just hoping for someone who isn't a sexual predator/animal abuser. being able to play a defensive position would be a plus
I would say a QB, but they need O-line. They were bad last year.
Hoping the Bengals get Doctson or Sterling Shepard. I'm still annoyed that they didn't take Lockett last year after he torched Michigan in the bowl game (and everyone else on KSU's schedule before that).
Sheldon Rankins or Jarran Reed. If not them, maybe Ryan Kelly or Decker. If they aren't available, trade down. This draft doesn't seem very deep but what the hell do I know.
I am really hoping for some good early to mid-round picks, possibly Garnett, Spriggs, Caroo, or Jaylon Smith.
I really hope we draft a defensive player rather than an OT. For one, I don't think any of the OTs that will be available in the first round are that dominant. Second, the Lions have gaping holes at DT and CB, and already have promising young talent on the OL.
I worry about Warford's durability and they could use some more depth at OT. You are right though, not a lot of promise outside of Tunsil. CBs are weak too but Fuller or Artie Burns may be good picks in rounds 2-3.
My dream is a healthy Myles Jack. I'd take Conklin. Please not Hargreaves.
No, I don't want a soda! No Clevelander has EVER used the word "soda." Ever! Us Clevelanders use the word "pop."
They also need some serious help on the DL to give McCoy some help. I feel dirty for saying this, but if Bosa somehow, someway, fell all the way to #9, I'd be kicking down the door of his house to sign him. But Bosa realistically won't last past pick 4-5.
I'd also be shocked if Myles Jack lasted past the first round, but if he's still around in the second, I'd take a flyer on him and hope for the best. Or maybe even Jaylon Smith.

Yeah, I've seen Hargreaves linked to the bucs a lot, and all I keep thinking is "did nobody watch the bowl game?"
Need to give Doug Martin some room to run after just signing that fat contract of his.

Lions
Rd 1 - most likely Ragland
Rd 2 - Spriggs
Rd 3 - Spence or Oakman or Scooby Wright or Washington
Rd 4 - Simmons (S - BC)
Rd 5 - Glasgow
Rd 5 - Bush (S - Miami)
Rd 6 - Doesn't really matter.
You're really into this. I'm impressed that you know they 2 round 5 picks. Cheers to you!
Wouldn't say round 6 "doesn't really matter". I remember a certain 6th round pick at the quarterback position out of Michigan who has done quite well for himself and the team who drafted him...

I'd also like shitheal Goodell to give them their 3rd round pick back and for him to fall several times on the way up to the podium.

As a Lions fan, I'd like to see them go OL in the first round and get Willie Henry in the 3rd or 4th. Not sure I have a preference on the OL pick, as all the guys in that range seem fairly similar...
It'll be a pick that no one saw coming; mostly because not too many people will understand the logic behind it.
