Noon Games Open Thread
Incredibly full day of good games today - some in each time slot rather than being all stuffed at 8 PM to boot. Going to be a good one.
OSU v Maryland and A&M v Miss State (no defense to be played) should be the 2 most interesting in the noon time slot
- Ball State at Army, CBS Sports Net, noon
- Florida at Tennessee, SEC, noon
- Iowa State at Oklahoma State, FS1, noon
- Marshall at Old Dominion, FSN, noon
- Ohio State at Maryland, ABC, noon
- Purdue at Illinois, ESPN2, noon
- SMU at East Carolina, ESPNU, noon
- Texas A&M at MIssissippi State, ESPN, noon

Delany just advised that if there's a possibly concussed player, the coaches/trainers should tackle him.

whoa Maryland scored.
October 4th, 2014 at 1:35 PM ^
CJ Brown being Gary Nova.
October 4th, 2014 at 1:35 PM ^
Wow that INT was bad.
October 4th, 2014 at 1:37 PM ^
31-10 OSU. Its nice to see a team crush someone average on the road. Just not that team.
October 4th, 2014 at 1:37 PM ^
Dan Mullen is skyrocketing to the top of everyone's coaching search list

The SEC Network has the best non-B1G B1G game on at the moment - a 3-0 barnburner at Neyland going into halftime. Florida has 122 yards on 36 plays, so a cool 3.39 yards per play. No, Florida is not winning at the moment, not at all on any level.

The talk of a second team from the SEC West or MSU getting in over the Pac12 champ is by ESPN is crazy.
October 4th, 2014 at 2:03 PM ^
October 4th, 2014 at 2:07 PM ^
No they don't. They aren't jumping the Pac12, SEC champ or a one loss FSU. They would need the Big12 champ to lose at least once and maybe twice.
You don't get credit for playing one legit team in non-conference and getting run over and 3 cupackes.

How is it that OSU replaces their whole O-line and QB and have them look like they're 5th year seniors? My wife is a Buckeye. We are 12-12-1 together. Thanks to Bill Martin and DB for putting this tire fire together so that my wife overcomes the 10-2-1 start that I think was a key to a healthy marraige. Just f-ing thanks.

Its like they are coached up or something.
Seriously though its like they get better every week. impressively infuriating
October 4th, 2014 at 2:02 PM ^
The game isn't over but if they come out playing like that in the second half it will get ugly.
October 4th, 2014 at 2:06 PM ^
This Purdue vs Illinois game is the ''what happens when you hire mediocre coaches right out of the Mac bowl''.
October 4th, 2014 at 2:18 PM ^
I thought that was Michigan football.

I think both Arizona and Oregon would blow A&M and MissSt out of the water. SEC slappies will once again claim that this game only means how great the entire conference is, but from what I've seen the PAC-12 plays better D and has offenses that are even better.

Why is JT Barrett already better than both Devin Gardner and Shane Morris combined?
October 4th, 2014 at 2:30 PM ^
In a word... Yes.
I hate to say this... But Urban Meyer made Tim Tebow into a excellent passer.
Whoever is the coach at Michigan needs to be a guru on one side of the ball. Bare minimun

And Kenny Hill lost any Hesiman hype.
October 4th, 2014 at 2:30 PM ^
TAMU, Maryland and UF might all finish the game with backups in the game.
October 4th, 2014 at 2:30 PM ^
is legit.
October 4th, 2014 at 2:38 PM ^
They've still got Auburn, Alabama and LSU.

Is Will Mushamp trying to get fired? That's the only reason I can thinkof for why Jeff Driskel is still playing. 11-23 for 59 yrds and 3 INTs.
October 4th, 2014 at 2:35 PM ^
And here comes the backup.
October 4th, 2014 at 2:39 PM ^
...looking for Kenny not so Trill to benched next.

Miss St. Is just plowing right through TAMU, TD!

This is the "real" A&M we're seeing today. That ranking was such a joke all along. It'll interesting to see of the talking heads have enough guts to drop their ranking far enough.

October 4th, 2014 at 2:42 PM ^
Finally Florida scores a TD!
October 4th, 2014 at 2:47 PM ^
Anyone else get the feeling that if a UM receiver tried that move that the A&M receiver just did that he'd be yelled at by the coaches?
October 4th, 2014 at 2:48 PM ^
Florida actually scored a touchdown and it wasn't by accident or anything. I suppose they can hold off on the ceremonial cremation of the offensive playbook for at least the rest of the quarter now. Still, it would be better for humankind if Driskel did not throw.
October 4th, 2014 at 3:00 PM ^
Florida vs Tenessee is 10-9? Good god.
Go Muschamp go!
October 4th, 2014 at 3:01 PM ^
Why don't we haz recievers like Speedy Noil?
October 4th, 2014 at 3:06 PM ^
I had thought they were turning a corner but Mullen is just obliterating them.
October 4th, 2014 at 3:07 PM ^
I'm seeing 4 losses in Sumlin's future at the very least with that D.
October 4th, 2014 at 3:07 PM ^
ESPN analysist comparing Prescott to Cam Newton. Really?
October 4th, 2014 at 3:11 PM ^
Both A&M and MSU have a case of the dropsies.
October 4th, 2014 at 3:12 PM ^
ESPN announcer guy just now: Two losses for a possible SEC West champion = "How good the division is."
October 4th, 2014 at 3:20 PM ^
Only they have no chance in winning the west now. ESPN is becoming unwatchable, i usually have to mute the game.
October 4th, 2014 at 3:14 PM ^
24 net yards for UF's punt
October 4th, 2014 at 3:16 PM ^
The Bulldogs look good. Damned good.
