Going to a concert with the lady, a show I'm not all too thrilled about, and I'm now convinced that Dave Brandon and Ken Holland are on a personal mission to ruin sports for me, but oh well. There will at least be plenty of beer in a few hours!

Celebrating my cousin's 21st birthday with bar-hopping in Holland. Bike ride and friend's wedding on Saturday. World Cup finals on Sunday, of course! Fun will be had.
Coaching my son's travel baseball team in a weekend tournament.
And hopefully popping a few cold ones after each victory!

100 degree weather here in the pacific nw, lake and alcohol baby!
Putting miles on my new bike tires, imagining I can ride as fast as those in the TdF. i really can't ride as fast as my own self five years ago.
Going to ride on the Nickel Plate 765 tomorrow and then chase it on Sunday to get pictures. I hope there is a point where it goes over a bridge, that always seems to make for cool train pictures.
Preparing for jet lag. Long flight tomorrow. I used to have my work travel plans organized weeks in advance, but I'll board the plane tomorrow not knowing how the hell I'll get to my hotel upon arrival. A nice POSBANG will help my mood as I prepare for stuffing my 98th percentile height body into a Delta economy class seat.
