This is not their first time violating the tampering rule (see Micah Parsons recruitment during the Urban years). Peetitties should act swiftly and irrationally. Worst scandal in sports history.

Brian Hartline gives it to you straight! He comes at you once! He’s there again twice! He’s not going to sneak away in the middle of the night in his stocking feet! In fact he’ll be there the next morning to make you breakfast and give it to you bro style — straight! He’s tough like the man he works for but he’ll have your back and he’ll be up in your grill all week don’t worry! Giving you the straight up TALK all week!

So maybe OSU is going to start reaping their just rewards for hiring PIs to watch other schools and play the leak it to the press game....hate to see it happen to them, really heartbreaking.

NIL is fine, enticing players to go into the portal is fine, paying for hookers for visits, $800k for a recruiting visit, basically making up classes and grades, etc

* but an extra visit by a coach, a cheeseburger during a drop by visit during covid, these are hard lines in the sand that will create NCAA sanctions....FFS

That’s unsportsmanlike right?

Tony P will suspend Day right?
Is the Mizzou coach going to talk about this?

Can’t wait to see what SEC Shorts does with this news

Death penalty.

Thanks Day and OSU.  Hiring PIs and “your coach cheated on a test in the 3rd grade!” will become the norm.  We’re in an arms race to the gutter.

Hmmm, an OC committing a recruiting violation to keep the #1 player in the country in your class sure seems like a competitive advantage. I think the only logical decision is to suspend Ryan Day for 3 games

The conference needs to warn every single opponent as well. They also have to leak info to the media, make sure everyone talks behind their back on a conference call, and then make sure they suspend Ryan while they're flying but without actually telling them and just waiting until they see it on twitter or ESPN.

Then we can talk about vacating wins, but due process first, right?

These kind of competitive advantages must be investigated and summarily judged. Ohio should have to change football to only an intramural sport to prevent a reoccurrence. The horror...

I don’t really care but…

I do care that recruiting is far more important than stealing signs.  Even if everyone takes multiple visits, a violation is a violation and the ADs should voice their outrage on a BIG conference call.
