Play of the game - and it probably earned him $1M in the pros - a 330 pound dude that puts for that kind of effort? And can run down a RB?

A 30 yard gain for PSU and I was genuinely happy.

Kenneth Grant, a 340lb man, ran down a RB 30 yards downfield and sidestepped another player to yank him down to the ground.  I wasn't even mad about the run, I was so psyched.  One of the most amazing football plays I've ever seen.

The only thing that can beat this defense is bad officiating. PSU's OL held all day long, didn't get called for it once, and OSU's OL is even less talented.

Colson needs to be more aggressive shedding RB blocks.

Am a big fan of Minter and his D.

First time a team snapped in the 10 yard line, all season.

Might be the best D in 50 years here...

That TCU game I'll chalk up to them knowing our "signs".  Can't have it both ways .

The defense balled, everyone one of them.  Special shoutout to Kenneth Grant, awesome effort and hustle, especially tackling PSU back on long run.  Coach Minter outstanding as well.  Btw, they let PSU hold so much.   Bottom line, prevailed like  Champions.

Will Johnson is the prince that was promised.  He had a Sainristilian PBU on the decisive 2-pt attempt (after recovering from a false step!)

Tackling could've been a bit crisper, fewer 4th down conversions in the 1st half would've been nice, and Drew Allar was a little squirrely on the ground...

BUT, once again a stingy performance by the defense.  Long pass play was 19 yards.  Only 238 yards total offense allowed and 3.7 YPA for Allar passing.  He was more effective as a running back LOL.

Any of us who watched PSU play OSU and Allar's performance there were cackling with knowing glee when the game was put on his shoulders in the 2nd half.

Kenneth Grant out there looking like Gabe Watson with wheels.

It's November in the B1G & we bring a grown man's defense on the road. Hats off to the team for playing thru all the holds & Minter for the "bend don't break" playcalls. GO BLUE

Welp, somebody finally scored on us in the third quarter. :) Just went to CBS for my stats, and it felt good. Fuck ESPN.

EDIT: Mis-read the box score; je m'excuse.

Great D. Even with a few runs allowed in the first half, a trick play and a score at the end of the game, this D is top notch. On the road, tough circumstances and being held every fucking play, they still held PSU to 15 points. Proud of this D and Minter.

Minter was respecting the pass way too much in the first half. If theyd just played to shutdown the run Penn State wasnt crossing the 50 till garbage time. Allar sucks

PSU’s second td was a joke drive— a penalty that only arose bc the refs wrongly called it a pick, then a rando hands to the face while PSU bleed the clock while losing.  Defense played great.

Excellent game. Smart, deep, tough, fast, fundamentally strong, competitive group of guys - outstanding unit. They will peak for OSU with fresh DTs, Moore rounding into form, and Wallace getting comfortable.

Yes, but the offense won’t be able to play that conservatively in the playoffs.

Penn State’s offense and passing game is far from elite. Great to elite offenses will be able to move the ball and find the endzone.

Our entire offensive game plan during the 2nd half was the direct result of us not respecting Penn State’s offense.

Unless PSU got a penalty to help, they barely moved the ball all day.  The Barrett helmet thing sucked because 2nd and 10 inside the 25 (?) would have continued to spell doom for PSU.  And I wanted to win by more.
