In a wine club. This month was reds from Washington. The refs in the b-ball game caused me to have the 2nd bottle opened. Nearly gone
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:40 PM ^
I'm also always looking for an excuse to open the second bottle. Que Syrah Syrah. Cheers!

Woodson whiskey. And it’s delicious by the way, smooth and flavorful.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:36 PM ^
Got two bottles myself. Crack one open tomorrow maybe.
I'm very suspect on how its aged/ barrelled . 2nd series came fast. But hope to be pleasently surprised
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:41 PM ^
I didn’t have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Was drinking Woodford last weekend and I would say Woodson is smoother but Woodford a bit more flavorful.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:51 PM ^
At the price point.. its worth the bottle. Wouldnt be the first bourbon that became heavily mixed cocktails only
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:26 PM ^
Cherry Coke! I’m a wild guy.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:43 PM ^

Started off with a couple shots of ButterShots after spending time freezing outdoors this afternoon. Two All Day IPAs later, it's now time to enjoy an Upper hand IPA to celebrate VICTORies.
January 23rd, 2021 at 12:14 AM ^
Butter shots on the ski lift. Nothing better.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:30 PM ^
Peanut butter whiskey. Trying to finish the bottle.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:44 PM ^
Screwball? I tried it and it was WAY too sweet. Tasted great in my morning tea though ;)
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:54 PM ^
I haven't had Screwball.. But ole Smokey is good. Not ridiculous.. I couldnt drink it straight through. Put it with some Chamboard (PBJ time!) 1:1 . Or some Godiva chocolate 2:1. Peanut Butter cup.

It’s great to see Michigan doing well in basketball and hockey. Both teams are playing at a high level. This should be demanded and expected. I don’t understand why some fans of the football team are ok with the current situation. If we can do great things in basketball, a sport that was neglected for years and was at its lowest point 20 years ago, there’s no reason why we can’t be at the same level in football. We have become a consistent big ten title contender and in the past 10 years had more success then the football team has had in the past 20! Demand greatness and you’ll receive it eventually.

Drinking some homemade mead. Just bottled my first batch tonight. It still needs to age a few months but I had one bottle that didn’t fill all the way and I didn’t want to waste it.

Sierra Nevada Torpedo and some homemade Trapizzinos. Helluva sports night!

It is a great night to be a Wolverine! B-ball on the big screen, hockey on the tablet, nice nightcap to end the evening.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:41 PM ^
Hopslam. FTW.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:42 PM ^
Don't forget about women's gymnastics! (My daughter always watches when they're on).
Drinking Untitled Art/Parish Gulf Coast IIPA, AleSmith Speedway Stout w/ Espresso and Vanilla and then Untitled Art TripleBerry Hazlenut Smoothie Stout. It's been a long week so well deserved on top of tonight's wins.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:47 PM ^
Couple of Burial/Other Half collab IPAs and a Prairie Mocha Noir... it's been a good night.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:52 PM ^
Prairie nails their barrel aging. Everything they put out is well done.
January 22nd, 2021 at 10:22 PM ^
Three or four years ago I would have agreed with you but their BA has fallen off precipitously recently. Pirate Bomb was one of if not my favorite beer but the last batch was undrinkable. This is the first BA Prairie that I've had in the last year that I enjoy... I hate coconut so I haven't had Weekend or Paradise.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:50 PM ^
Watched ‘em both on the west coast with a nice Chianti. Go Blue!
