I don’t know that he’s top 5 or even top 10. It really depends on if a team needs a QB NOW or can wait 2-3 years. I don’t think it’s fair to use the term ‘project’ but he needs to learn and grow for a couple years. Outsiders points to his TCU game as a bad game because of the INTs, but that was one of his best games as far as showing his arm talent IMO.
Without the catch the game is virtually over. And it wasn’t just a player catching a puck like we’ve seen a million times. He got UP! Such a huge play. I’ve seen highlights that cut part out. That is the play!
You never know what to expect from freshman. He was used quite sparingly despite their desperate need for guard depth. While you can’t ignore stats, I wouldn’t take them too seriously in this case.
Being the head basketball coach at a major program includes making some political moves. Kicking players off the team because you’re the new coach doesn’t usually sit well with the fan base. Just ask Deion. Regardless, GW3 is top 100 player who showed some potential last year. Furthermore, there are/were 9 open roster spots. Without GW3 you might be scrapping the barrel of the portal to fill those last couple spots. Overall this is a good move.

I wanted him fired after the loss to MSU in 2021. It just looked like more of the same, can’t beat our rivals, can’t win big games, can’t win on the road, yada yada. I also figured another loss to OSU was looming. I was horribly, horribly wrong, and I get caught up in my emotions.
How about getting negged for using initials. Posters who are too lazy to spell a name are a big pet peeve. And not wanting Sherrone as the head coach is enough of a reason to neg you. Wanting to throw away the culture they’ve built over the last 3-4 years is mind boggling to me.

I give Harbaugh more blame than Warde. If Michigan was his #1 choice he wouldn’t be interviewing with NFL teams. He would let the world know he’s staying at Michigan and figure out the details later.
I love Harbaugh as much as the rest of you. Build a statue, name the stadium after him, whatever we can do to honor him, I’m all for it. But this holding the program hostage bullshit has to stop. How many recruits and transfers have we missed out on because of this? It’s so frustrating.
Michigan screwed up by not hiring a proven college coach. The NBA is so much different than college basketball and he doesn’t know what he’s doing. How can Juwan fix the program if he doesn’t know why or what is wrong with it?

My son pointed out that JJ & Mikey win the Rose Bowl awards so maybe they didn’t want to give the same player another award if it was close. He was adamant Corum should have been Rose Bowl MVP. Just a theory.
We’ve seen a lot of cases of kids chasing bags. We saw what happened at TAM and we’ll see what happens at the U, but I feel like recruiting players who want to play hard, train hard, and love football is the better model.
