Didn't see any shout outs from GR. Go Blue! from the west side.

Fuck that guy! The sound of his voice makes me cringe. He's more about his brand than he is anything else. Yeah I know I just descirbed 90% of the national media but I can't stand that guy.

get VERY thin in a 14 team league. There are probably several iffy players on everyone's rosters in his league.

he never says "I'm not going anywhere". Lots of love though.

how you classify someone as being a fan, not a fan, or a bandwagon fan. As shitty as this season has been I wear my gear every Saturday (and some days in between) and watch as much of every game as I possibly can. I cheer for them but don't get nearly as irritated due to my low expectations. I've been to 2 games this year and probably wouldn't go to another one even if offered tickets but that's more about logistics than anything.

all get a participation ribbon at the end of the year banquet. That's all that really matters.
|33 weeks 6 days ago||I agree that||
it has heightened the urgency to get rid of them both. However I think the urgency would still be there if we had lost to Minn without all of this controversy. The Morris incident escalates the situation on a national level because of the emphasis we have put on player safety on all levels over the last couple of years. I believe the UM fan base and the MGoBlog community would still be just as anxious to get rid of Broke (Brandon & Hoke) just due to the 2-3 start, our record over Power 5 teams, and the overall decline of the progam. It just wouldn't be on the ABC nightly news broadcast. Of course the Morris incident wouldn't make too many waves if we were 5-0. They didn't impeach Clinton just because of Monica but it didn't help his case.

I am as well. I liked the guy and I wanted him to succeed just like the rest of you but here we are again and it is beyond sad. I feel like my 3 yr old when he lost his favorite stuffed dog. He slept with it, wiped his nose with it, drug it everywhere, shared his and lows with it. There is no replacement. I want my stuffed dog back!

I was talking about Hoke but unfortunately they're most likely a package deal.

I received an email from UM during the week prior to the App St game. There was a promo in it for KIDSZONE seats for $40 + tshirt (for the kids). My boys had never been to a game so at $40 a pop I jumped on it. There was a miscommunication regarding the tshirts so we didn't get them. I didn't really care I was just happy to get $40 tickets. They sent me an email the following week apologizing for the screw up with the tshirts and offered to mail me the shirts AND complimentary tickets to an up coming game (select games of course). I had already purchased 6 tickets at the $40 KIDSZONE pricing for the Minn game. I asked for possible credit toward the tickets I already bought and they said they can't refund tickets so it was either 3 tickets to another game or MDen gift cards.
I thought it was great they offered to correct the oversight but found it pretty interesting they were going to give me 3 free tickets just because they screwed up on giving my kids $10 tshirts.
Another thing that I never thought I would see....When I went to pick up my tickets at will call (at Crisler) people were just walking up and buying tickets. The cashier/attendant even asked "where would you like to sit". Seriously? Obviously things are down right now but I never thought I'd see the day you could just walk up and buy tickets the day of like going to a minor league baseball game. Made me a little sad.
I think you can still get the KIDSZONE deal just by using the promo code KIDSZONE. There is very little choice of seats but I didn't really care my boys are only 5 and 8.
One last thing. When leaving Crisler after getting our tickets we walked up the stairs and into the stadium right behind Levert and Irvin. It was pretty cool seeing them up close like that. Not everyday you see dudes that tall walking around.

to hear the logic behind this statement as well. I honestly can't remember the last time UM had a team improve (enough to notice) throughout the course of a season. I haven't seen it in either of the last 2 regimes (this one included).
|37 weeks 3 days ago||Absolutely!||
If you're a fan of this team you will stand by it's side even in it's darkest hour. If you don't do that how do you consider yourself a fan? It's the very definition of badwagon fan and will not allow anyone to brand me with that label. I will wear my Michigan gear today and wear it proudly. If you can't find it in your heart to do the same today, or a week, or 2 weeks from now, then find a new team because you're not a fan of this one.

if anyone told you this but you can only create a new thread if you have read and memorized EVERY thread on the board. Because god forbid you take a day off and post something that's already been covered.

I am taking my boys (8 and 4) to their first ever game this Saturday! We're all very excited! Can't wait! GO BLUE!!
|40 weeks 14 hours ago||last second FG||
I was at that last game vs Washington and I'll never forget it. UM had missed probably 4 FGs that day and Brabbs was called upon for one last try as time expired....UM wins! UM wins!
|42 weeks 6 days ago||They also have/had the most||
They also have/had the most potent offense in baseball so they could afford to sacrifice some offense to make their rotation absolutely dominant.
|43 weeks 1 day ago||I was thinking the same||
I was thinking the same thing. A few weeks back I heard an ESPN radio host ask an analyst if Hoke was on the hot seat and he said yes. I'm not an expert or professional analyst but I keep up on UM sports as much as I can and haven't heard anything about him being on the hot seat. So what is the basis of this analyst saying he is on the hot seat? Just pure, blind, speculation? Or real knowledge? I would guess the former. I can't fault someone for assuming he is on the hot seat just due to a couple mediocre seasons but I would expect an "expert analyst" to have some real proof or evidence before making such claims.
|43 weeks 5 days ago||I think he meant||
I think he meant they didn't think the distance was a big deal. RoJo may have gone to Muskegon but he's no Miss North Carolina either, he probably understands Cali is a couple states away.

defending Coke because I think he needs to go but those were the first ERs he's given up in over a month. In that time he made 12 appearances with no ER all while giving up 12 hits and 4 walks. So as hard as it is to admit, he kind of deserved a chance last night.
|44 weeks 6 days ago||I don't think||
the WOW experience is necessarily what fans are looking for. I tend to agree that more wins will help toward solving the problem. I think if UM was consistently winning 10 or 11 games a year and beating rivals that selling tickets would be such an issue. Do you want to pay arm and leg to see an 11 win team or a 7 win team that seemingly loses to OSU and MSU 3 of every 4 meetings? There are obvously more factors at hand but as the saying goes "winning solves everything", it would definitely help.
|45 weeks 15 hours ago||I actually||
prefer 3:30 games. It gives me a chance to get everything done that needs to get done around the house and halftime ends up being right around dinner time. And if tailgating it allows for more drinking and tailgate toss. A noon games takes up such a huge chunk out of the middle of the day it makes it hard to get anything else done. If I'm going to a game, coming from GR, I have to get up at the ass crack of dawn to get to the stadium if I want to do any tailgating.
|48 weeks 2 days ago||thanks for the tips||
Thanks for the tips! I realize I was overreacting a bit but I remember getting tickets for $50 per which doesn't seem too long ago. I also remember getting offered 3-packs for a reasonble price and without the "required donation". Just seems to have gone overboard in the last 5-10 years.
