I think you jinxed him.
Thanks a lot.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:14 PM ^
Wait. You actually want to win? Losses are better for the future of the program at this point.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:26 PM ^
Contrary to popular belief, you can fire a coach for underperformance even if he wins most of his games
Beating Rutgers isn't the deciding factor for him being fired so don't act like it is
November 21st, 2020 at 9:56 PM ^
Pay no attention - this is a child saying they will hold their breath until they get want they want.
Wishing for the team to lose so a coach can get fired? That movie has been played a few times in the last 15 years. The ending isn't always pretty.

Cade definitely has solidified his spot as 2nd string QB
November 21st, 2020 at 10:06 PM ^
I wouldn't be shocked if he was the 2nd string QB next week and that isn't a knock on Cade.
November 21st, 2020 at 10:57 PM ^
If there’s one thing Harbaugh has been consistent with, it’s picking the wrong QB.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:16 PM ^
miles ahead of Milton
November 21st, 2020 at 9:18 PM ^
No. I want to lose this game to make sure Harbaugh is gone. I want to get off Mr. Harbaugh's wild ride!!
November 21st, 2020 at 9:42 PM ^
I really really don't want to lose this game. We would be 5-2 against Rutgers. 5-2 isn't even a good record against a normal schedule. But imagine a season where you got to play Rutgers every game, and you started 5-2
November 21st, 2020 at 9:19 PM ^
Quick release and accuracy. I feel hopeful.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:19 PM ^
He seems to have confidence and passion. Hopefully he gets better as he goes.
November 21st, 2020 at 10:47 PM ^
Plus he has good touch on the ball.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:21 PM ^
How was he not the starter last week and this week?
November 21st, 2020 at 9:25 PM ^
November 21st, 2020 at 10:40 PM ^
He looks like he has played A LOT of football. Very instinctual, good timing. Doesn’t make decisions like a freshman.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:23 PM ^
He’s better than Milton. He’s not good enough to make up for the tag team champions of Harbaugh and Gattis.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:24 PM ^
Kid has touch and seems to have a bit better pocket awareness. Good start.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:24 PM ^
Final score ?
UM 35 RU 17
November 21st, 2020 at 9:24 PM ^
He is really impressive to me. Just the way he handles himself you can tell he understands the game and what needs to be done. Just need to leave him in there. I get the feeling the offense trusts him more as well.

I'm not an insider but whichever coach was pushing for milton needs to be fired..tonight
November 21st, 2020 at 9:27 PM ^
McNamara is our only chance of winning this game. I like his checkdowns. He's sparked the offense. Goodbye Joe Milton.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:27 PM ^
dont let harbaugh near this kid. we have ended too many collegiate qb careers recently. let this kid have a fighting chance
November 21st, 2020 at 9:29 PM ^
You'll hate him in 2 quarters.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:36 PM ^
SOWF!! Yea u get it! What does losing to Butgers do? Harbaugh is already done! So how does this loss help us out?? Really?
November 21st, 2020 at 10:43 PM ^
this comment isn’t aging well. M may not win but .... McNamara is kicking ass and he isn’t on defense .... M 28 - 10 R since McNamara came in the game
November 21st, 2020 at 11:10 PM ^
Wait ..... 35-10 M since McNamara came in the game
November 21st, 2020 at 9:37 PM ^
The team plays much better with him in. We waited to long to insert him.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:40 PM ^
It seems like a Drew Henson vs. Tom Brady moment at the time. Henson and Milton have all the physical attributes but Brady and McNamara have "it" whatever "it" is. Cade seems to have it. Not saying he will end up like Brady but he is the best option at this point.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:40 PM ^
He just seems to have so much better football sense than Milton at least so far. Sees the field and makes a quick decision. Let's see what he can do for the rest of the game.
November 21st, 2020 at 10:05 PM ^
Not only is he better, the team knows it too...and has responded.
November 21st, 2020 at 10:09 PM ^
We're gonna need McNamara's arm to stay in this game, thanks to Don Brown. The defense is decimated I know, bit his philosophy is making it too easy for Rutgers
November 21st, 2020 at 10:10 PM ^
Cade looks good. Wonder if Villari is now QB2? Harbaugh is officially not a qb whisperer. myth BUSTED.
November 21st, 2020 at 10:17 PM ^
Offense only half the problem
DB's defense still getting lit up by rutgers
November 21st, 2020 at 10:27 PM ^
Don Brown needs to be fired tomorrow. This is embarassing. Green, who is an average BIG player, is the only one on that unit currently playing with any passion. Don Brown is down two DEs that are future high-end NFL draft picks and he is still running his same defense.
November 21st, 2020 at 10:33 PM ^
He is a gunslinger
November 21st, 2020 at 10:39 PM ^
Crisp passes. Vision. Decisions. Tough. I like it
November 21st, 2020 at 10:40 PM ^
Michigan has outplayed Rutger 28-10 since McNamara came in the game
I feel like if he started, it would be 38-20 right now.
What the fuck are the coaches actually looking at in practice?
November 21st, 2020 at 11:05 PM ^
Loving Cade’s quick decision making. Complete 180 since he came in.
November 22nd, 2020 at 12:01 AM ^
Cade McNamara: The five touchdown man.
Better, stronger, faster.
November 22nd, 2020 at 12:14 AM ^
Easily the best decision maker I feel like we've seen under center during the Harbaugh era. And throws a very catchable ball.
November 22nd, 2020 at 12:23 AM ^
Hey that's the best qb performance I've seen since rudock
November 22nd, 2020 at 12:46 AM ^
Cade won us the game.
November 22nd, 2020 at 1:11 AM ^
Cade McNamara is "the natural."
No matter who the coach is next season, McNamara will go down as one of UM's greatest QBs of all-time.
McNamara sees the field better than any QB UM's had since Brady. To McNamara, the game is in slow-motion. He sees things before they happen. He anticipates due to his imagination and intelligence. Milton's finished. Put a fork in him. McNamara is light-years ahead of Milton. Milton will never have the vision, touch and field intelligence of McNamara. If Milton wants to be a starting QB, he needs to transfer, because he's done as a starting QB at UM.
JJ also needs to ditch his commitment to UM, bc JJ's gonna be waiting A LONG TIME before he gets to be the starting QB at UM.
I havent seen a UM QB play that well since Brady in the 2000 Orange Bowl.
November 22nd, 2020 at 8:16 AM ^
I want to believe every word of this! I know it's Rutgers but I didn't see a glaring weakness out there. He handled the blitz, made hot reads, found guys in holes in the zone, threw the ball away under pressure (!), hit on his deep throws, improvised throws a couple of times. Not sure he can make plays with his feet and he seems to struggle throwing an out route, but holy shit he looked like an above average Big 10 QB in his second game action.
And he sort of reminded me of .... Jim Harbaugh.
November 22nd, 2020 at 11:28 AM ^
This is the funniest/craziest post of all time...
Rutgers. The worst program in B1G history. 3 OTs.
LOL
What is wrong with you?
