I'm sure the guy is a fine Coach, but they don't play anyone. How do folks get so excited about Houston winning games with middle school teams.
|1 week 2 days ago||Results||
A little topic change to MSU.
Wasn't Dantonio harping about MSU selling "results"???
Then saying M was selling "hope" to recruits?
Suck it Sparty and Dantonio.
|1 week 3 days ago||Marcus Allen||
Someone earlier was way old school comparing Evans to Gayle Sayers.
I'm going to hope he developes into a Marcus Allen if you remember him with the Raiders. All around runner(in and outside), but a huge weapon catching the ball out of the backfield.

Cheeseheads all the way - Oh Wisconsin!!!
|1 week 6 days ago||Jump Around||
I'm going with the cheeseheads.
Its a night game with poor weather. The booze and cheese curds will have the stadium loud and doing the "jump around" thing they do. The Bucks are very young vs a power team that can grind the ball on the ground against most teams(not us). Bucks fall 17-14.
If the Bucks lose I'll do the jump around!!!

Thanks for the entertainment - LOL.
"We're getting grabbed in the pussy". I'm not sure if that makes sense, but its damn FUNNY.
Give this blue Brother some more up votes - I did +1
|2 weeks 4 days ago||O Line||
If O line play and QB play can improve we can beat OSU. The D will have to play excellent (limit big plays)and the game will be there for us.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Suck it Sparty||
My neighbor won't even put his Sparty flag out on Sat anymore. This is from a guy that flew to the Rosebowl game 2-3 years ago.
I LOVE it
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Snake Oil - Out||
We don't need snake oil anymore. We have Harbo.
I think we have a shot at Najee. If not, there are plenty of other CA recruits for Harbo to check in on.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Cougars||
The Cougars were way over rated. Their schedule is soooo weak.
|5 weeks 2 hours ago||Time Will Tell||
Time will tell my firend. My guess is Speight will not match Rudock this year, but hopefully next year. Rudock was on fire late in the season and made the jump to an NFL type QB. The other thing Rudock had going was hurting the other team with his running. He saved the team many times with his wheels.
Don't take this as a knock on Wilton, but I think the Rudock jump last season was exceptional. Remember Rudock came to us as a "game manager" not a QB that would win games for you.
|5 weeks 4 days ago||Waiting||
It seems we have been waiting longer than Tim Tebow for sex for this Oline to put it together. I hope they improve as the sason progresses becuase I'm noy impressed so far.
|5 weeks 4 days ago||Uneasy||
I knew we could beat them, but I had an uneasy feeling becuase we kept making big mistakes over and over in the 1st. I was looking for O'Korn, but I understand Harbo kept Wilton in so he could grow from the experience. In the end everything turned for us becuase we have more talent. Defense, Peppers, Chesson, Butt, Wormly, Glascow, Gary, etc.
I'll be at the Wisconsin game for my 59th birthday. I have not attended a game in quite a few years so I'm looking forward to it. I have the two greatest Sons in the world for taking me to the game. Go blue from three walmart Wolverines!

Everyones laughing at Frosty, even his Mom.
|6 weeks 5 days ago||Generous||
I think folks are being to generous with Coach Frost.
Coach Frost was classless after he got spanked in front of 100k plus of the best fans in the world. The correct type quote should have been a tip of the hat to Michigan then praise his team for playing hard and not quitting. Mouthing off after getting your ass kicked is sooo middle school Coach Frost. Shame on you.

Glad to see the big man doing well.

Nice job - The DB that comes up on the Ty run is trying to turn in the play & take out the lead blocker. His job is to not let Ty get the corner & to keep the hole to the inside as small as possible so the D players inside of him can hopefully make the play along with the safety.
As mentioned with the size difference between the DB & blocker the go low or dive is a techique I've seen the DB's use even in the NFL. The bigger defenders USED TO
- Keep the inside foot forward & take on the blocker. Keeping your outside arm/leg free to string the play to the sideline if the RB keeps going outside.
- Don't go to far across the line and take youself out of the play. The RB can take the inside hole then quickly cut it back outside.
It can be a difficult job. Players with this outsude contain assignment work at it like everything else in football. If you have never played football the repitition would amaze you.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||Moving||
We are moving in the right direction, but I'm also waitng for more that a scrimmage game to see how far the OL has come. The young guys playing yesterday will help us next season.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Noon||
Noon is a perfect time for the games. It keeps the tailgaters under control - LOL.
I enjoy special night games with top teams playing.
|8 weeks 5 days ago||Honor||
This is a great honor for these two fine young men. Great choices!
|8 weeks 6 days ago||10 year man||
Played Youth(2 years), junior high(1), high school(4) and 3 years of DII. I left D3 ball a year early to get marreid and set the business world on fire. The marrage was fire as in dumpster fire lasting the longest 1.5 years of my life. I'm still working on that other fire in the business world - LOL.
I really Coached 1 year of Youth ball and helped for a few years after. My job was/is to demanding to really Coach. I enjoyed working with the lineman.
I played HS football in the early 70's. My school 9th to 12 grade started practice together and you kept up with the big boyz or went home to play with dolls with your sister. At some point of two a days we split up by FR, JV, varsity. Us 9th graders that gutted out two a days left knowing if we survived that we could do anything. The man building started there.
Concussions/injuries? In the old days you played on. I had my whole arm went numb and limp one game and I trotted off the field. I was met on the sideline by a yelling coach. After he realized my arm was dead he rubbed it out for two plays where the feeling/movement was starting to return and I returned to the field to play O & D line. I never left the field junior & senior years.
|9 weeks 2 days ago||Ion Guy Plus||
Ion guy was looking for a new safe car <30k
The Honda CR-V isn't exciting, but it is safe & dependable. It gets decent mileage & you can haul some stuff in it. Its good at most things you need in a vehicle. The WIfey drives a 2011 with AWD and he loves it.
I have two friends with Ford C-Max's. They love them, but have not let me drive them yet. They claim gas saving and comfort.
I had a 2005 Ion. It was the most boring car to drive ever, but it never failed me. I got to 100k and moved on.
|11 weeks 4 days ago||I like that idea||
Fullback up OSU's gut. First down and deliver some punishment to the D.
|12 weeks 2 days ago||My Rides||
I do pretty good, but I don't like to put a lot of $$$ in cars.
-I commute in a 2011 Corolla. It does everything I need.
-The Wife has gone from a Honda Mini van to a 2011 CR-V now that the kids are gone.
You can't beat a mini-van for kids. The seats fold flat or can come out. The mileage is better than an SUV, etc. The van costs more money in repairs than I was happy with, but the CR-V has been outstanding to this point(2011 with 60K).
The Wife and I are planning on a ragtop as a summer cruiser. We are thinking a Mustang GT or something else used to keep the price down. .
|13 weeks 1 day ago||My 2 Cents||
Asiasi - No - only because we are so deep at TE. We have Wheatley as a JUMBO TE already. He is a great prospect, but not this year.
Walker - No - We are just to deep at RB. This year would be great to get stronger, learn the play book and polish up the pass blocking.
Gary & Bush will see alot of PT. I can't wait.
The young DB's will see the field.
The freshman WR's will sit. Work on the blocking, route running, and get bigger, strionger, faster.
|18 weeks 2 days ago||No Back Seat||
Good first car for a teenager? Smart car or maybe a Tacoma standard cab. Don't let them have a backseat.
|20 weeks 2 days ago||Hurst Shifter Gal||
Not quite a car, but anything with Linda Vaugh the hurst shifetr girl was the best.
Ya have to be old to remember those.
|23 weeks 3 days ago||Steve Mariucci||
He was the QB for Northern Mi & I was on the D line for Saginaw Valley. This was around 1977 or 78? We were rotating in and out to chase his ass around and we were gassed. He was throwing the ball all over on us and killing us.
Finally, we nailed him and put him out of the game. The team erupted knowing we would put NMU away without him. Dang, a lefty came off the bench and the air assault continued. We folded up and the game slipped away. It wasa long ride bus ride to SV.
The guy could throw the ball, scramble, feel the pressure coming, and get rid of the ball. He was the best QB I ever played against. If he were taller and at a bigger school - Hummm.
