MGoArticles you come back to again and again...
Today, I saw a tweet that made me think:
A few years back, I discovered the User-Curated HOF accessible via the Useful Stuff tab above. Though it doesn't appear to have been updated since the Hoke era, I enjoyed looking through some of the classic MGoPosts from years past. Limiting the question to just the MGoUniverse, my answer is "Get Behind Me", Brian's post-OSU game column from 2011. I've found myself coming back to that same article at least annually since, hoping for a sequel to come soon. Much of the column wasn't about the game at all, and it is written beautifully. Another favorite of mine is "Those Who Stayed", about that same year's 58-0 win over Minnesota.
So people, do you have any MGoPosts you consider foundational, or that you return to now and again?

EDIT: I know this is EDSBS but I first read it on MGo so... ya know...
Eleven Swans was one of the best things I have ever read.
I really, really wish we had won that game.
The best stuff is the stuff that makes me a smarter football watcher. Brian's old picture pages were great, and Seth has really done a great job making Neck Sharpies a must-read series. His "what is" series is particularly good.
In response to the actual tweet in the OP, regarding the wider internet: Scott Alexander's meditation on outgroups is must-read.
I still cannot wrap my mind around what a blithering idiot Brandon is. Astounding.
You know what's worse? There are a whole bunch of people in an around the University who were like "Yes. Yes. Yes. This is absolutely the guy we need."
I was one of them. Not specifically supportive of Brandon, but more so wanted someone who would modernize the program a bit, after feeling the athletic department was falling behind most other big programs.
The Brandon hire was too extreme a push in that direction. It was like trying to scratch a back itch with a machete.
I was referring more to people that knew Brandon personally. I don't expect that casual fans would have had some insight into Brandon's character and ideas before he was hired, but the board of regents certainly fucking should have.
I was gonna say the Dave Brandon Obit, the one titled 'Failure.'
Thank you. I'm re-reading it now, so good.
I don't have a link handy at work, but I have to say a personal favorite is the one where Brian references Sigourney Weaver's penis when describing the likelihood that Brady Hoke could ever become the head coach at Michigan.
The one where I asked for advice...
I know. I was stupid then, and am stupid now.

that's the first part of a 6. whoever/wherever the author, crex, may be, it'd be fun to get an update

The crex posts are easily my favorite. So much gold in there.
Co-sign the above. The CRex saga is still the funniest thing on this blog.
For some reason I get an access denied notice when I try to open the korean in-laws one

might be my link. suggest going straight to the user HOF if you haven't tried that already.
Most memorable:
1) The outing of Dave Brandon
2). The outing of Roll Damn Tide
Seconded.
Double

That, and the comments, I truly enjoyed.
Oh yeah, some guy named Brian has all these wonderful writings somewhere....
:)
I don’t actually go back to it, but it was a tremendous post dwarfed by the awesomeness of the response.
The thread about the guy who found out his wife had a penis, after they were married.
The one where the guy asked where he could locate shirtless pics of the basketball squad.
Both threads are pure gold!!??

My personal favorite game recap: Poster Boy.
Wow, that’s great.
And there’s a bonus mention of a guy that Beilein went after and missed when the guy went to Washington State instead and promptly blew up, dominating there when the article was written.
The player was Klay Thompson.

The genesis of the "three star mafia"
Well the mobile page does not allow me to pull down the Useful Stuff tab all the way to the HoF tab (because of course it doesn’t) but I am proud to have nominated Brian’s article after Landon Donovan’s goal in the World Cup. Great writing
Edit- Had to do some googling but I found it!!
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Seth's "Dayenu" posted before the 2018 Championship game vs Villanova. One of the few times I've gotten chills reading about sports. A captivating piece about a captivating run.
i read Brian's "The New Math" post every now and then... The CRex stories are always must read, i spent over an hour reading them yesterday and laughed my ass off, he needs to come back and give an update.
my favorite post is when the "McFarlin Thread" when Brian just lost his shit on that kid... it was much better before it got redacted...

The game recap after Burke hit the shot vs. Kansas is pretty special
that is special. thank you for posting.
BiSB's JMo tribute is a personal favorite, along with the aforementioned Dave Brandon obit.
The thread on the Molly game from the 2002 regionals. Being all of 5 years old at the time, I had no awareness of this even going on, but reading it and all the events that transpired makes me feel as if I were there.
