Indiana - High Concern
OSU - Super High Concern
I am concerned. Concerned Man Concerned Man, yeah that's me!!! This has got to be one of the hardest schedules in ALL of college football. Excluding Mid Ten, our only "breathers" are Rutgers and Illinois.
You think you're being funny, but basically what you're suggesting through your satire is that we shouldn't talk football on a blog devoted to... football
I am genuinely concerned. Our schedule is difficult!
Your definition of "High Concern" is "any team with a heartbeat that we can't be guaranteed to blow out." By that standard, every team in the nation should be "highly concerned." Dumb.
This guy probably plays all of his sports video games on the "Rookie" setting so he can blow out every opponent only to restart any game that he has a turnover in because it will break hit stat streak.
The game is played so we can see who is the best. The team will either rise to the challenge or fall flat on their face. That is part of the beauty that is found in "amateur" sports.
Wrong. The game is played so that I can be entertained. I am still lamenting the loss of the mob's ability to decide whether the loser lives or dies.
I see you called yourself "Concerned Man, Concerned Man" in the OP, which reminded me of Discuss Man, who was widely thought to be WD.
Could this possibly mean, OP, that you are WD and not really a monkey?
DISCUSS
IBD. Reason = stupid post.
Some folks just like to hear themselves talk
Or see themselves write?
I enjoy both.
Some men just want to watch the world burn.
We thought the same thing with last year’s schedule and all in all, things turned out pretty good.
One week/game at a time.
anyone else concerned about the posts that are concerned about various things?
better topic: who is going to what games this coming football season - sound off!
I'm more concerned about your 51,891 MGoPoints within a 4yr period. Avg around 35pts per day...
Do you have a job? Or are you collecting my tax dollars?
a.) we don't talk about points. but if you do, take note of the 10 and 20 million point folks
b.) job? me?
(Some) Lawyers get paid to keep them from doing work - since that work costs other people a lot of money. Nice non-work, if you can get it. Just don't push it too far and try to blackmail Nike.
I'm obviously a slacker, only averaging a measly 29 points/day. Looks like I better step up my game.
You launched a math project to pinpoint XM's point total?
You got the right job.....
I don't see a problem here.
funny.
for those keeping score at home (that's you, lost wages) SRJK works out to close to 8,000....per day.
divine intervention.
Find a gym?
thought you were good-naturedly pulling my chain, but just in case you are serious: up @ 0415 hrs today, first barn chores done. was on way to gym @ 0530 hrs. working on two homicides and watching lots of video and audio tape right now, taking pleasant short breaks to kibitz on the blog. will take care of our 5 sons starting in about an hour while wife is off with the daughters this weekend. a bunch of mgobloggers and/or lurkers, some of whom i've known for close to 40 years, can verify this nonsense and what a jerk i am.
Two murders, eh? That's nothing. I murder scores daily.
technically, neither are murders in that in neither case was there the intent to kill. the definition of a homicide is the unlawful killing of another which may have happened. one is kind of a 'who dunnit', one is more of a 'how did it happen'.
Going to Camp Randall. Trying to go to every big ten stadium with my dad before he can't go to games anymore. I will not being to any home games anymore.
Thinking about going to Wisconsin with my dad also, with clock ticking too. Maybe some golf before.
I'm going to ALL the games, XM... whether I'm concerned or not!
SoCal boy here, born and raised a UM fan by 2 UM alums.
We moved from the Midwest when I was 9, and I have never seen a fall in the BiG footprint since then. I have been to the east coast, Europe, and the west coast since.
I finally moved to Pittsburgh for work this year, and I am ecstatic -- 100% ecstatic (!!!!) -- about seeing the Best Team Ever play the JoePa's in State College this fall. I don't care the price -- the price of not going is worse. (Plus I got a huge pay raise to work here ?).
Sincerely though, Ann Arbor is only 5.5 hrs away, and I will try to see a home game in the Big House. I've been raised my whole life thinking about this team, and I finally get to see them.
I am pumped!!!
Take a Friday off of work, drive up, stay in a motel somewhere in Belleville (or a closer hotel if you're worth that kind of money), and make a day of it. MTSU, Army... you'll love any of them.
yo, are you being serious or sarcastic? away games, too, or just joshing?
I'd love to take my daughter to her first game in the Big House this fall as she is moving out and has yet to go to one. I've taken my son and wife to a couple and now it's her turn. She's moving out for college this fall and I may be taking on a new gig in a different state so everything is up in the air as far as scheduling.
I would like to take my son to the Ohio State game if we can swing it...but otherwise no plans for other games.
I am going to the Iowa game with my son, nephew and brother in law. We started a tradition last year of going to a college football game. We went to Fayetteville to watch an Arkansas game (where my brother in law and I went to college) and this year is the Big House. We will be in a big bus and anyone is welcome to tailgate with us.
Go Blue!
I'm concerned that I may go insane if I see another concern-troll level of concern post regarding a season that doesn't start for another 4 months.
I think 10-2.

Don't forget to preface everything with "way too early"
I always wait for the post draft mock draft
I probably should think PSU is our second toughest game, but I just don't. Without Moorhead I just think Franklin is Harbaugh's pleasure pillow.
I gave them the nod over ND, who I think is the better of the two teams, because a conference loss is a bigger deal than a non-conference loss and being on the road has those games about equal in terms of CONCERN.
Yeah, I can see that. The White Out is honestly worth 7+ points IMO.
@ Wisc > MSU at home
I agree, I might even put that game above home ND because Camp Randall, and because conference game.
Really, I think the biggest hurdle on the way to The Game is that Michigan needs to split the PSU and Wisconsin games.
As long as they do, they'll be playing for the division title the last game of the season.
I have low concern about any games outside of those three (and will have little concern about PSU if Michigan does win at Wisconsin).
This should have been the OP's approach, if anything...
Iowa would be 4th on my list, although them losing 2 TE's in the draft tells me they probably peeked talent wise for a few years last year; and it is at home. Indiana's offense always 'concerns' me, so they may be ahead of Wisconsin and/or Sparty..but that's my opinion.
The OP is obviously joking because you have to squint to see anyone outside the top 3 upsetting us. Yes, upsetting because we will be favored in every game unless the Ryan Day experiment has zero hiccups along the way. I have my doubts about that.
Iowa will be tough but they are a different team away from home.
Agree with the top of the list, but Army at 9th? They were a legitimately good team last season and while transitions for service academies are tough to rate, not really seeing Indiana and Maryland being more difficult. Think people are really overlooking the Army game.
I’m not concerned about anything anymore. Being dead is quite nice.
is winterfell still in play?
You aren't dead. What is dead may never die. The Ironborn have told us that for 8 years, but we didn't listen, apparently...
