think the best part is the possibility that there will be NJ recruits at the game who are either already committed to Michigan or about to commit to Michigan as soon as the game ends.

job Rutgers. What did it take...maybe 30 seconds, 40 seconds tops for one guy with a poker stick to clean that up.

but this is probably just them getting warmed up. Next time they will do something super serious like...ummm...throw more trash on a high school football field.

the picture could be a dumpster fire, a tire fire or perhaps a dumpster fire and a tire fire in a smouldering crater.

It's a good thing you didn't sit down to clean your gun before you read it.

are there a lot of teams that win the national championship every other year?
I am not a fan of Donnal as a player, but I bet he can type coherently.

QB be added to the Peppers "slash" position list? I am pretty sure he took some direct snaps in the Wild Wolverine package last year.

Ohio State do something similar with regards to sports cars, except it's the players who (used to) drive them around?

the penetration all the way to the basket was due to mostly one issue from what I was able to watch. The first rule of defense is to stop the ball. When the guards, or forwards, or whoever got beat high; there generally was no rotation by the defenders to stop them. There were often guys there who should have rotated, but either didn't or rotated way too late.

won't neg you, but I do disagree with you. I only neg people who make racist comments or who name call.
I don't think that integrity and character should be compromised for the sake of winning. Sports is a great platform to teach those types of principles. Teaching the opposite has a deleterious affect both initiailly and years later.

I am looking forward to next season after this write up.
I just hope that I don't feel like crashing my vehicle into a bridge abutment after the write up for the "The Bad", which will be primarly about how bad the defense was and how bad the production from the bigs was.

like shooting the three from the wings for the same reason; I like the backboard in the background.

I lived in East Lansing, I think I would buy a MTSU shirt just so that I could start pleasant conversation with members of their wonderful fanbase.

with kids that give verbal commits to Penn State because...
All Penn State's four star and better verbal commits am belong to Michigan.

dismissed Rasheed Sulaimon. He averaged 7.5 points per game. He wasn't one of their top players. They won the national championship, but it was primarily because they had a top 2 recruiting class that put three true freshman in the NBA.

officiating didn't really have much to do with it. Michigan did, and so did Notre Dame.
I agree with you that Donnal is terrible. I have said it many times. He is 6'-9" and 240 pounds, but he plays like he is 4'-9" and 75 pounds. He is unfortunately the best option at this time. Wagner is a foul machine and Doyle is even worse than Donnal. That being said, he didn't kill Michigan. Zak Irvin shot 4-16 and 1-9 from 3 point range. Most of his shots were of the terrible variety. Early in the second half, Irvin and MAAR (and I think Walton) wrecklessly drove the lane into two defenders only to have their shots heavily contested or blocked. They didn't go strong either, they faded away so they weren't going to get a foul call. The other players stood flat footed, so there was no chance of a dump off. They rarely set off the ball or on the ball screens for Robinson in the second half, which is somewhat of a mystery to me. They played terrible defense. It's hard to win games when you give up 58% shooting and 53% from three. Most of the looks were uncontested. That's been the story against every team with a pulse. In other words, there is plenty of blame to go around.
I haven't seen anyone saying that you don't need a big man in Beilein's system, but I will take your word for it. I agree with you, you absolutely do. You have to have a very good post player if you want to run a four out motion offense and a read and react offense. You have to have good post play for every offense.

Wisconsin and Pittsburgh are engaged in a contest that closely resembles what I imagine would happen if 6th graders on angel dust played a game of basketball.
Congratulations to them for setting a new NCAA record for scoring futility.

the last 6 games are any indication, then I wouldn't hang my hat on better shooting, especially from 3-point range. They have shot 5-13 (Wisconsin), 8-28 (Iowa), 11-27 (Northwestern), 6-21 (IU), 6-25 (Purdon't) and 6-25 (Tulsa) from 3-point range in those games. The game against Northwestern is the only acceptable performance shooting from three. The rest is terrible.
Combine that shooting with bad defense and the results are generally bad.
On a good note, ND is very bad at defense.
