Why should you care about M athletics?

Because you choose to.  That's one of the great things about free will.

You want a reason?  Because more than a thousand buckeye fans log in and you can hand them an L.  Why do you complain so damned much about not getting championships and then when the fan base is being competitive you act like a lazy slob?

Don't want to play?  Don't play, but don't act all above the game and ask for a reason like you're special.  Because it's a game.  Play if you want to get a win with a block M on your team.  And if the Block M getting a win isn't enough for you, then just don't fucking post.

agreed, there is a point of protest to make your point, and a point of too far with a 'show of force' toting guns into a government building...because...It's a bit too far and too radical for the situation at hand. If it were a Second amendment rally...maybe a different perspective. And sure...you can argue rights are rights and this is about personal freedoms so it fits. WEAK.

This coming from a braindead UM grad who admittedly cuts off OSU fans on the roads... not understanding that his actions could have dire consequences for people unrelated to his ignorance!

Yeah... keep smackin' those lips like you're not a low-born... we all know you are!

Hey JPC - Fuck you !  A lot of fans didn't have the funds to attend U of M but are still Wolverine fans. I actually attended Ferris State back in the day. Signed: Wal-Mart Wolverine.

Nah... Wolverine Devotee is THE posterboy for Walmart Wolverines because he exudes the stereotype in spades.  Do you need to be a grad to be a fan?  Absofuckinglutely not!!!  let's be crystal clear about that.

But WD wants all the cachet of leaders and best without having done the hard work a lot of us put in to get where we are -- so he self identifies with the University to co-opt everything he admires about it.

I said you’re a fat ass loser who shouldn’t talk shit about anyone - so basically what everyone thinks about you, but is too polite to say out loud.

if you weren’t such a completely insufferable weirdo you’d probably be able to parlay your fanaticism about UM sports into a job in the AD, but you’re stuck being you. No wonder you’re depressed.

One of these days, Walmart Dickhead is going to have to cash all those checks his big mouth writes.

No wonder you’re depressed.

He's not depressed.  He does that as a part of his "look at me posts".  It's an insult to people who truly suffer from depression that asshole claims he does too.

Before this topic is deleted as political, does anyone on the pro-protesters side of thing want to answer my question? I understand that, under Michigan law, they were free to open carry inside of the capitol building. What I don't understand is why it is even necessary when the protest is about a completely different issue than the second amendment / gun control. Carrying rifles in a protest that has nothing to do with the ability to carry rifles only serves to appear more powerful and aggressive. Just seems completely unnecessary to me when the issue being protested isn't at all the same. Is it just a desire to "get as much of it (the deep beliefs) out there in front of them at the same time just because we can" or what?
