He wears #47 and will hunt you in your dreams.
October 12th, 2013 at 6:35 AM ^
....and then your dreams involve this happening to you.
October 12th, 2013 at 9:02 AM ^
When JMFR is involved it's a nightmare if you are opposing him.
Also, Chuck Norris fears JMFR.

Just a guess... Jake Muthafuckin' Ryan

Jake Mother Fucking Ryan. Go to bed.

Also, the "muthafuckin" part of the phrase must be spoken at an extremeley high pitch. Any other usage amounts to blasphemy.

Disappointed that north campus has not yet developed the technologies to clone #47

Actually, they did. That's the real way he was able to recover so fast. They did have one slight glitch though, hence the lack of flow in the new model. They still haven't figured out how to fix the hair length problem yet, but they are working on it.

probably to make him feel more confident with the knee. Hoke has said as much.
October 12th, 2013 at 10:13 AM ^
Hoke has stated on more than one occasion that for a player to travel with the team, they have to contribute. He will play.
October 12th, 2013 at 11:28 AM ^
Call me crazy, but I swear I saw Jake with the team at UConn (on TV).
October 12th, 2013 at 11:53 AM ^
I'm not sure about that. I was at the Purdue road game last year and I remember seeing Kalis (who was then redshirting) on the sidelines.

Game goes as planned; he's an observer. Game get dicey; he's a participant.

doesn't hurt, but he's been CLEARED TO PLAY. An element of caution is already baked into that decision. The risk is low IMO.
October 12th, 2013 at 7:25 AM ^
That seems like a plan that no coach uses ever.
October 12th, 2013 at 7:49 AM ^
...is not a video game.
October 12th, 2013 at 9:21 AM ^
That's it right there. Game in hand, JMFR sits. Need a lift, he goes in.

...but it won't be as a spark or a gimmick.
Personally, I don't think he's needed. I've always said..."get some snaps vs. Indiana, take the Bye Week to respond and recover. Go 100% vs. MSU."
October 12th, 2013 at 11:51 AM ^
But I'm guessing you are neither a team physician nor know Jake personally.

I'm a lot more concerned about how he will come back from the loss of his long locks. Can he adjust? Will he be the same dominant force?
October 12th, 2013 at 9:32 AM ^
Well played.
October 12th, 2013 at 8:54 AM ^
He'll get some snaps.
October 12th, 2013 at 8:58 AM ^
Was thinking about that line in Top Gun. Wish I was knowledgeable enough to embed that clip from the movie. Regardless I say get him out there!
