$52 where I'm going today.
Not bad. Lately, I've been going to public courses (which are like 20-40). The most expensive one I went to was at the Wynn for 375 (and we didn't even finish because it is so darn hot in vegas).
We usually do the public courses because we're cheap. Last time we were in Vegas we played at the course on the Air Force base. Pretty cool with the B2s and various other jets taking off right over us.
I will be living in Michigan again. Score.
I'm going to listen to Datbull 4 Life on my ipod.
I heard that there is a sequel coming out. Lyrics go like this (drop the beat):
Thought I was hardcore,
But I ain't even real poor,
Now I ain't a little brotha,
I feel like a dumb motha.
but some lady asked me to go to a 1/2 marathon with her...and something about her lazy hubby in his boxers playing with his toys.
Okay, that didn't happen really.
...for Friday to be the day before Michigan Football. Go Blue!
I work in research so I deserve it.
Love that. I'm gonna drink whisky while I golf. I deserve it.
That's the only way to do it!
go blue for that little guy. blessings to you and your wife.
Wow, everyone in this thread has better plans than I do, haha. I wish you and your wife all the best in the upcoming days :)
I am partial to Lester Bien, but you can call him Les if you'd like.
Congrats! My first nephew was recently born. I bought him at least 40 pieces of Michigan clothing that he will have and be able to wear until he is 3 years old. My family is really pushing him towards Maize and Blue
Projected high of 104 degrees here in Tucson ... but the A/C works. So +1.
Yesterday the house and property of my father's estate sold, so as executor my project list is getting smaller. Poignant moment selling off something that I've been connected to for 44 years, but life goes on. +1 for continued good health for me and my five brothers and sisters.
Tonight is "date night" with my lovely wife ... Grimaldi's Pizza here in Tucson ... coal fired oven ... pepperoni with extra basil. +1.
what do folks in tucson think of the rich rod cowboy video?

Nothing that I can tell. I listen to local sports radio in the afternoon and I haven't heard anything mentioned about it. Dead quiet on that front.
The level of interest in Wildcat football in Tucson is nothing like what you have in Ann Arbor. That's partly due to the fact UofA is more a basketball school than a football school, partly due to the size of Tucson (almost a million, very spread out, and a lot of it not really associated with the university at all), but mostly because it's summer in Tucson and most people are focused on not frying to death in the heat and sun. :-)
Well, for your sake, I hope they are far enough away where they don't see you.
Have a blast out there!
True love is hard to find. Sometimes you think you have true love and then you catch the early flight home from San Diego and a couple of nude people jump out of your bathroom blindfolded like a goddamn magic show ready to double team your girlfriend...
it didn't happen...
lol. was that old school?
I wonder if Taco Bell is still open?
is about two miles from my office. We do lunch there sometimes for b-days and such.
I know...cool starry bra.
I'm nursing a few injuries from racing my bike the past few weekends, so my plan is to chill.
I'm hoping to find a good novel, lay on the hammock, drink beer. Open to book suggestions, I tend to like historical non-fiction. Just finished Gates of Fire and Unbroken.
I'll be teaching one kid to ride a bike while caring for the other who has been running a fever for two days. Nothing like holding a miniature furnace in 90 degree Carolina heat! Of course, none of that will stop me from getting in a good 3 hours of late-night gaming . . . Don't be jealous of my life!
Last weekend at home with my wife until August. Need to make the most of it
I will be making my first ever trip to Six Flags this weekend. As a person who grew up going to Cedar Point I'm trying to convince myself that a park with fewer than 10 roller coasters can still be fun.
Playing the Grande in Jackson on Sunday, great course just hope the weather holds up!
My weekend constitues finishing applying for grad school and seeing world war z this evening. overall no complaints might even sneak a beer in there somewhere if there is time. (old school reference)
I've been sick for three weeks - longest stretch of my life - and just now feeling a little better, and it's not a cloud in the sky in DC, and UM are RECRUITING LIKE DEMI-GODS and life is suddenly amazing again. Then I remember my wife has me pencilled in to watch the season finale of Downton Abbey on DVR tonight, and the cold.... the inescapable cold... it returns....
Loads of Two Hearted Ale and a Super Moon. Gonna be a kick ass weekend. Go Tigers!
