You should be ashamed of yourself. Grow up and show some class. |
| 2 weeks 4 days ago | Classy |
What a classy and well reasoned post. Kudos... |
| 5 weeks 2 days ago | Really? |
You can't say someone's not a team guy just because they opt to go to the league and be paid for their skills. Is Brady Hoke less of a team guy because he gets paid $2-3M per year? While I applaud Taylor's decision come back, I will not say Burke is not a team player. He's a lottery pick ffs. |

You clearly don't have an iPhone. I charge my iPhone 5 once every other day. I have LTE 95% of the time. Retina display looks fantastic. Jailbreaking allows you to change your phone in pretty much anyway you want. I could even run an android theme. iPhones are incredibly crafted and made. iPhones are excellent phones, stop hating. |

Taking advantage of some nasty weather and working from home today. Life is good |

1. I do think the SEC, or at least a few of their schools are committing major violations. |
| 16 weeks 5 days ago | Top 5 |
Negligible differences between our class and Ohio's aside, this is another fantastic effort by Hoke & Co. I cannot wait until our overall roster values reach elite levels. |
| 17 weeks 3 days ago | Couldn't agree more |
I couldn't agree more. He's arguably the best linebacker to ever play and he does amazing things for his community. No brainer 1st ballot. |

| 20 weeks 5 days ago | Crossing fingers |
It's not over until he signs, so I'll be crossing my fingers until then. This does bode well for us. |
| 21 weeks 5 days ago | Great Read |
I'm impressed by this young man's willingness to own his shortcomings (no pun intended) and overcome them. Truth be told, I believe there are a lot of college football players with some type of learning disability that we just don't hear about. It's amazing that they get the opportunity to attend four-year colleges and receive the necessary assistance they need to succeed. |
| 21 weeks 5 days ago | Agreed |
I think an appeals process is necessary, because false positives do happen. But I definitely agree with you that it should be an expedited process. If they're cheating then they shouldn't be able to prolong the process just to play extra games. |
| 21 weeks 5 days ago | This |
I couldn't agree more. The big hit culture has also contributed to more players getting neck injuries from leading with their head down and it provides a poor example for young kids watching. |
| 21 weeks 5 days ago | Confused |
Are you mad about the ability to appeal or that they worked the system? |
| 21 weeks 5 days ago | Classy |
Classy. |
| 21 weeks 5 days ago | Amazing |
Simply amazing. Good work sir. |
| 22 weeks 21 hours ago | Just guessing here |
I'll take a stab at it. I think he is referring to the rather childish discussion of the prospects name. |
| 22 weeks 21 hours ago | Excellent |
This is excellent work. It seems a foregone conclusion that the south has more athletes, but it's great to have different metrics to illustrate that point. Also, holy DBs batman. |
| 22 weeks 21 hours ago | Wet? |
Is it wet or just a crappy field? |
| 22 weeks 21 hours ago | Except Applebee's |
Except Applebee's has terrible food too. They just dress it all up with grease and cheese |
| 31 weeks 1 day ago | Yikes |
Oregon is pouring it on now. I really hope they go undefeated and play Alabama in the NC. Great O vs. great D. |
| 31 weeks 5 days ago | Agreed |
I'm certain you're right that we only "need" 17-18 players and the rest are just what is available. That being said, it will be interesting to see which best player available scenario the coaches go for. Is it truly best player available? Or do they still favor one position group over the other and go from there? Time will tell. |
| 31 weeks 5 days ago | Back and forth |
I waver back and forth on this point. The coaches clearly saw a need for 5 OL in this class. With last year's haul, we could certainly get by with 4 OL this year...but the game is won in the trenches. On the other hand, an elite skill player could be a difference maker on the field (possibly sooner rather than later). Either way, it's a great spot to be in. |
| 36 weeks 5 days ago | Against it |
I am totally against it. It's not fair to the kids to recruit them with that type of mindset. It makes recruiting more of a meat market than it already is. There are a lot of reasons why the SEC is better than we are, but that is definitely a substantial one. Lower academic standards, larger talent pools and recent success are also major factors. I think the NCAA should pass bylaws to outlaw this method of recruiting. The B1G has already stepped to make scholarships 4-year scholarship instead of a renewable one-year scholarship. This ensures that our schools are committed to the student-athletes for the long haul. We will be at the elite talent level in a couple of years, but there will always be programs that are willing to push the moral envelope to succeed. I am comfortable with the way Hoke and Co. do business. |
| 36 weeks 5 days ago | Oversigning |
Why aren't we doing this? It's just the wrong thing to do. The practice of oversigning offers kids scholarships, only to yank it out from them before school starts in the fall. This is coupled with medical redshirts, grey shirts, and the like. Leaving the player SOL and the school loaded with ill-gotten talent. I would take the way we recruit anyday over how Saban et al do it. We offer kids, make sure we have room for them, and do not yank their scholarships to make room for a better player. Quite simply, we're better than that. Hit up oversigning.com for more info. There's a lot of good information about the subject. |

Good Luck! Cleveland is where hope goes to die. |
| 1 year 8 hours ago | Jailbreak |
New jailbreak is out. Happy day Happy day! |
| 1 year 4 days ago | When you look at the offers |
When you look at the offers, USC has only given out offers to premier recruits. Having such a large number of instate recruits to go after coupled with the USC brand in a a great location, not much of a sales pitch needed. "Hey, come to USC and play with other great players, in a great locale, and receive a great education." Not ground-breaking stuff here. |
| 1 year 4 days ago | Jerk? |
How exactly is he acting like a jerk currently? |
| 1 year 4 days ago | One of the best ever |
That was one of the best performances ever by LeBron James. There honestly aren't words to describe how good he was. |
