| 4 days 16 hours ago | I went to Bud Middaugh's |
I went to Bud Middaugh's baseball camps when I was a kid. Met Barry Larkin and got to see Jim Abbott throw, Mike Gillett was there. Pro's had clinics like Alan Trammell and former Tigers Jim Northrup. We stayed in the dorms and also played flag football at Michigan Stadium, on astroturf. One of the UM players gave a few of us chewing tobacco and I threw up, I never tried it again. These camps were by far the coolest things about my childhood. Cool story, bro? |

It's my first Father's day too. It's hard to explain how much I love my little man...just amazing being a Dad. I've got a big mountain bike ride planned with some other Dad's followed by craft beers. |

| 3 weeks 6 days ago | This is interesting. I also |
This is interesting. I also wondered how Nebraska joining the B1G would open up the intermontane west. Nebraska is pretty big out here and has dominated recruiting after CU slipped. I don't remember many recruits from this region in the Carr days. '12 Sione Houma - UT '13 Chris Fox - CO '14 Bryan Mone - UT We looked at Skipper, McCaffery, Kozan... OSU got a guy last year.

Cool. Thanks for the update. I'm actually still racing at 40 years old. Not as fast as I used to be but I just Cat'd up to 1 in MTB and i race Masters CX. I would also be interested in a jersey if they ever become available. The generic college kits are pretty bad. Congrats on the season. |

Thanks Ace. Anybody else find it strange that both the "athletic director and the president of the school" have time to meet with recruits? Do Brandon or Coleman ever do this? |

First off, congrats on the opportunity. This sounds like a big decision for you and I really hope you don't rely on random blog comments to inform your decision. With this said, take the job and if you hate it make a switch. |

| 9 weeks 6 days ago | Here's a question. McGary vs. |
Here's a question. McGary vs. Zeller NBA long term potential? If GMs are comfortable with small samples sizes, like the NCAA tournament, then you could make the case that McGary has more upside than Zeller. Due to teams like Denver who are winning with high motor / non- superstars I think players like McGary have a place in the NBA. 25 pts, 14 rebounds and only 1 TO vs. Kansas is pretty amazing. However, Zeller performed well in B1G play and pre-conference so there is more to go by. I'm bias in favor of Michigan players obviuosly, but if I was a GM I'd pick McGary over Zeller. Zeller seems lazy, slow and plays 2-3 inches shorter than his height. He telegraphs often and seems a bit weak against thicker post players. He's sitting top 10 in most of the mock drafts so I'm probably way off and wrong. But, he reaks of bust to me. |
