Zero Day Muppets
It turns out that I'm a gentle, kind, understanding person. I think organic food is a good in and of itself. I am comfortable touching strangers. Who knew?
MUPPETS KNEW
And you can't have one without the other…
Van Bergen. Martin. Woolfolk. Koger. Molk. Hemingway. Odoms. Heininger. Huyge. Watson. Live up to that, future seniors.

...was just unbelievable... The pandemonium that erupted in the stands when Avery intercepted Miller at the end to seal the victory... Rushing the field afterward with about 50,000 other people (or so it seemed) ... One disjointed thought and emotion after another, but it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. And I've lived a pretty long time and done some great things. This is right up there with the best of them.

This is true. The memories are so awesome that they have not yet organized in my mind. There is the INT. The count down. Screaming that seven years was over. Going on the field and kissing the ground. Somehow finding friends and celebrating. Leaving and looking back on the field still full of fams while the sun dipped below the stadium and blessed the scene in a glorious golden light. Thinking "I'll see you next year" and being so happy I could cry. God bless Team 132.

navigated from the student section through mid-field, there was a little opening where I could get through people. I ran through people, into the end zone, and took a knee. My cousin took a picture of me laying down in the end zone. It's gonna be amazing telling people about this in 20 years

Wherwwwwww!!@@@!!!n GO BLUE!
Brian, feel free to say and do whatever the hell you feel like on Monday!!! You've been through 8 years of never blogging a Michigan win.
IT'S HERE BABY!!!!!!
We win. UFR can go to hell. MICHIGAN WINS!!!
It doesn't matter, we win. MICHIGAN WINS! GO BLUE GO BLUE GO BLUE!
Maybe I'm enjoying this too much. Maybe losing since junior year of high school isn't that long. TO HELL WITH OHIO STATE. I don't care; Hail to the victors! Hail to the conq'ring hearoes! HAIL! HAIL! To Michigan the CHAMPIONS of the West!
GO BLUE!!!!

on Coach Hoke's face, his fist pumping after Avery's interception, and the excitement by the team, fans, and electricity in the stadium was priceless. Love to send the Buckeyes south with a loss. Was frustrated about the safety play on UM"s D, but very pleased with DRob's efficiency today. His last three games have been good, and I expected he would play this way throughout the year. Next year I'm expecting a graduation from happy feet and poor accuracy, to better timing/decision making and throwing with better mechanics. Despite the miscuses, I'm very proud of the entire team today; GO BLUE!!!

Honestly one of the best days I can remember. It's been since middle school. Winter looks a whole lot better now.

One of my greatest fears (Denard throwing INTs like its going out of style) never happened!! I understand we only threw 14 times. But still! I cant remember one throw that was even close to being picked off. Out-fricken-standing

I came here 3 semesters ago to start a master's program. My first game ever here was the opener vs. Connecticut with all the renovation fanfare. I'll graduate in a month, so this will be my last game here as a student.
Aside from just being fortunate to attend the University of Michigan, i feel oddly blessed to have been here at such a tumultuous yet exciting time in Michigan (and Big Ten!) football history. It feels like these 2 years have seen a decade or more worth of change: the excitement of the renovation; the first night game; U-M, OSU, and PSU all change coaches; NU joins the league and the B1G CG is born (and that weird tempest in a teapot about moving the OSU game to earlier in the season); on and on it goes.
I'll always cherish the memory of that on-field party today. It took a good half hour to get down there, but i got to walk across the Block M on the 50 yard line and the best-looking end zones in all of college football. Thanks for letting me be a part of this.
Go 'Dores! Go Blue!

I'm very happy for Courtney Avery.
I remember him during last year's Iowa game where he wiffed one-on-one on the opportunity to get a third and long stop late in the game and get us back the ball. Cost us a shot at winning that game.
Well, he got his redemption today, in the biggest game of the year.
Awesome.

Also want to give a shout-out to Brendan Gibbbons. It's been tough sledding for him in his career at Michigan so far, but that 42 yard FG with less than two minutes to go was clutch. He stepped up big time, in the biggest game, at the biggest moment of the game. Great job Brendan! Go Blue!

to admit I feel more relief than joy. Whatever you call it, I nearly shed a tear when we went into victory formation. Great win for Michigan!

Our recruiting class far exceeds ohio state's to date, especially if dunn swings blue. We didn't have near the peaces we really needed in the way of talent and experience, but somehow this coaching staff kept it all together into a 10-2 season and a win over the Cooler Poopers. UNREAL!!!!
Hoke and Mattison for coaches of the year. 10-2. Not in my wildest dreams did I expect 10-2. I'd have been ok with 8-4 given this was a transition year and our coaches didn't have their recruited parts but 10-2?
I revel in the Buckeye fans on 11 Warriors talking about 'wait till next year' but hey guess what, WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR! We'll have a top 5 recruiting class in, Denard will be a senior, the coaches will have had the wisdom of a year coaching in the Big 10 under their belts, and hte players will have had over a year in the Borges/Mattison system. Awesome.
I see Bama and ND as tough games next year, but we should be able to sail through the Big 10 up until Columbus next year if Willie C or someone else can step up to replace Martin.
THE PRESENT IS GREAT AND THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT!
GO BLUE!!!!

First ever OSU UFR to tide us over until our BCS Bowl!
Odoms, Koger, Hemmingway all with TD receptions! Could you have drawn up a more fitting final game for this amazing senior class?

I was lucky enough to go to all of the home games this year. The start and end of the season was absolutely nuts. We got things really rolling with ND and finished them with OSU. The difference between how I felt about the games is pretty stark. ND was just adrenaline and excitement because we really had no expectations, but between the incredible atmosphere of playing under the nights and the joy of beating ND again we just hung out in the stands for an hour and sang Neil Diamond songs. I was bouncy afterwards and didn't want to go sleep.
The game today was also exciting, but we had the expectation of winning. We knew we were on the precipice of busting that seven year streak, but it was a very tight game from start to finish. When it was all said and done I was just mentally and physically exhausted with it. Then we got to wander down to the field (and that was AWESOME, too). However, between the anguish of the finish and the immense relief of beating those bastards, I just want to chill and savor it. Just a flippin' fantastic day.
All that to say ... Go Blue! We BEAT OHIO!

For those of us watching at home, listening to Spielman was painful. Is there any way we can use the powers of this motivated fan base to push the network to never allow him to call another Michigan game? Someone has to call for sanity.
We are so lucky to have these seniors who've stuck with it all these tough years, even when some in the fan base were harsh. They really deserve this win.
November 26th, 2011 at 11:52 PM ^
The two most infuriating comments were 1. Braxton miller is as dangerous as Denard 2. Michigan was confident today for the first time in 7 years? 3 maybe. Funny how nearly all buckeyes have selective memory.

through the free MGoBlue.com radio feeds. I muted the TV and listened to the Michigan announcers all game, and not having to listen to Spielman talk made the three hours much more enjoyable.

I heard an interview with Jason Segal on NPR last night about a new movie he has coming out about a Bizzaro World version of the Muppets http://theflickcast.com/2011/11/22/its-muppets-vs-moopets-in-this-clip-… that are evil, stupid, have no sense of tradition and try to commercialize everything and my immediately thought of MSU.

I mean "moo" is even in the name. Perhaps this will further inspire the Michigan/Muppets tradition with some good material.

Years from now, when this game is a distant memory and the Hoke era is well underway with more wins over Ohio, Big 10 championships, maybe a BCS title....let us not forget these men:
Mike Martin
Troy Woolfolk
Dave Molk
Kevin Koger
Ryan Van Bergen
Junior Hemingway
Martavious Odoms
Will Heininger
Mark Huyge
Steve Watson
You men saved Michigan. You saved it. Your leadership, your commitment, your sacrifice will never be forgotten. You will go down as the greatest of Senior classes at this fine institution. A better group of ambassadors for Michigan I cannot imagine. Thank you and Go Blue!
