BTN Bus Tour Stop number 8 #Wolverines - Headed to morning practice - will be second East team we've seen - been to all West except Purdue

— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015

No real surprises on OL - looked like Cole, Braden, Glasgow, Kals, Magnuson. Drevno singled Blake Bars out as having had good camp

WR looks to be about what it was a year ago - issue will be whether a deep threat can emerge. Better OL play could obviously help there

I'd be surprised if Grant Perry doesn't contribute some at WR. Tough to tell on Brian Cole - kind of up and down

Dressed in his uniform of a blue “M” cap, long-sleeve shirt and—what else?—khakis, Harbaugh spent most of time with QBs. Always instructing.

A very business-like practice at Michigan today. No music blared. A classroom environment with lots of teaching. Nobody walked or lingered.

PR looks like it'll be Peppers and Chesson. Peppers looked great overall today and DJ Durkin said he's had an outstanding camp

— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015

PK remains up in the air - still doesn't look like an area of strength. Aussie P Blake O'Neill got off some boomers - impressive

BTN Bus Tour #Wolverines I would not be surprised if both QB played in opener against Utah. Game play sometimes is best way to decide

@CoachJim4UM spent a great deal of practice time on special teams.#Alwaysagreatidea

Griffith on Michigan using the spread punt

@Lofter4 that’s an answer that has to stay on the sub@BTNDaveRevsine

First of all, they show plenty of M wins. I watched us beat UF/Tebow about a week ago. Secondly, many "classics" are upsets, and it's only an upset when you beat a good team. So lots of times that will be us. Indiana won't be on the losing end of many classics, for example. That's what goes with being a big program. When you get upset, it's a thing.

but how much of an "upset" is any win against our 2014 squad?  To me an upset is a lesser team beating a better team.  If they want to show teams beating us when we were good, I'm fine with that.  But showing the entire B1G beating up on us last year is just salt on the wound.

The Florida win was in 2008.  Great game, but still not "classic" in the way I'm talking about.  Maybe show the 1995 OSU game?  Or some from the 10 year war?

a number of schools still count it as a big win even when we suck. No one is showing highlights of someone beating a 6-2 Purdue team because no one cares. Beating a 2-3 Michigan team is still a big deal to Rutgers because This Is Michigan TM

They generally only like to show games from the last 7 or 8 years.  I think this has a lot to do with when many of the broadcasts switched to HD.  If you've ever tried to watch a SD game on an HDTV it looks like absolute shit.

I do agree though.  I wish they would take the time to digitize a few older games so the same set of games aren't shown over and over.

I just like to see good games.  Games played when Michigan was great and opposing teams crapped their pants walking into our stadium.

Also, HD is overrated as a technology.  Watch your local news in HD on a huge screen and you'll see what I'm talking about.  I don't need to see every wrinkle, hair, pimple, and age spot to understand the weather report.

They pulled superman's cape while he was sleeping and lived to tell the tale. When they are curbstomped by the now awakened superman this 1 game will give them solace.

I think this is slightly misguided, though I would say that they used to show a lot more Michigan content. But I think the main reason they show less these days is 1) two more teams to feature and 2) We haven't been very good in the past decade so they're trying to promote the rest of the conference more.

I caught the 2011 UTL Notre Dame win this past weekend.

Also, I'm not sure how many pre network games they have rights to. They run a lot of documentary programming about older teams though, including one on the '97 championship team.

I don't GAF about his analysis, but he makes me laugh.  He's a harmless, aging, former coach who is funny at times.  I'm kind of sad that he's starting to lose it.  I really look forward to his headgear selection each week on site of the big game.  Also, I'm still laughing about his "...aww, fuck it" moment.  TV gold right there.

If by good tidbits you mean. JH deflecting questions or answering them with his usual sly smile all the while not giving out anything important then yes tidbits please. Be ready for closeups of lineman hitting tackling dummies and cornerbacks backpedaling to Infiniti. Throw in a zoomed in shot of Jakes face while throwing and wrap it all up with the usual fluff talk about how fast they look and motivated they are. maybe a sound bite of a player saying people have stepped up in leadership this year. And then bang just like that a cut scene of bubbles rising from glick as the sub dives again.
