Thought we could link the tweets from today in one topic. Here are some, there are more in the thread

BTN Bus Tour Stop number 8 #Wolverines - Headed to morning practice - will be second East team we've seen - been to all West except Purdue

— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015

No real surprises on OL - looked like Cole, Braden, Glasgow, Kals, Magnuson. Drevno singled Blake Bars out as having had good camp

— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015

WR looks to be about what it was a year ago - issue will be whether a deep threat can emerge. Better OL play could obviously help there

— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015

I'd be surprised if Grant Perry doesn't contribute some at WR. Tough to tell on Brian Cole - kind of up and down

Dressed in his uniform of a blue “M” cap, long-sleeve shirt and—what else?—khakis, Harbaugh spent most of time with QBs. Always instructing.

A very business-like practice at Michigan today. No music blared. A classroom environment with lots of teaching. Nobody walked or lingered.

— Tom Dienhart (@BTNTomDienhart) August 19, 2015

PR looks like it'll be Peppers and Chesson. Peppers looked great overall today and DJ Durkin said he's had an outstanding camp

— Dave Revsine (@BTNDaveRevsine) August 19, 2015

PK remains up in the air - still doesn't look like an area of strength. Aussie P Blake O'Neill got off some boomers - impressive

BTN Bus Tour #Wolverines I would not be surprised if both QB played in opener against Utah. Game play sometimes is best way to decide
— Gerry DiNardo (@gerrydinardo) August 19, 2015

@CoachJim4UM spent a great deal of practice time on special teams.#Alwaysagreatidea

Griffith on Michigan using the spread punt

@Lofter4 that’s an answer that has to stay on the sub@BTNDaveRevsine

Well Rudock is a known quantity, so if that's the case it gives us a pretty precise look at where Shane is (i.e. waaaay better than last year, but still not where we had once hoped).

That said it's someone's observation from watching half of one practice so probably meaningless crap.

There's 7 or 8 quarterbacks competing for the job...everyone is focused on Morris & Rudock.  What about the other guys I don't think they are giving up.  I'm sort of wondering if we might be in for a surprise in September.

I don't see many people saying that this is necessarily a bad thing, but I think that the sentiment is that last year, our team was slow and lacked any explosiveness on either side of the ball.  If the same players are back, unless they suddenly become faster, we will once again be slow and lack explosiveness.  Sure, those players will be better coached and in better positions to succeed, but they will still be the same individuals.

Not saying that I necessarily agree with this, but it isn't totally crazy either.

Did we even get to see the receivers last year? Nobody other than Funchess and occasionally Darboh really had the ball thrown to them

Only takeaway thus far is Blake Bars has surfaced from Funk's purgatory and the hype about Perry being a contributor in yr 1 seems to be seconded.   Wish they had something about the backup OL aside from Bars - I really would have liked to see Kugler impressing by now (year 3 in the program).  Dawson too.

All of your TEs...

Shocking takeaway - Williams can catch...

No one should be surprised by Revsine's comment about Grant Perry. The kid is the most successful WR in the history of Michigan high school football (1,700 yards and 21 TDs his Sr. year, and a 3x state champ), and he did it in one of the most competitive leagues in the state. He was also an effective return man at Brother Rice. At a MINIMUM he's a Fred Jackson version of Drew Dileo (i.e., he's Dileo, but with more size and speed).

As expected - most hope for a guy weve never seen in college do it i.e. Cole or Harris. We'll be methodical.

obviuos, they aren't going to show shit. All obvious stuff.. Harbaugh probably deliberately kept drills particular with QB's in which not one could stand out above an another, other than Shane's advantage in arm strength. They sure as hell arent going to put Jabrill on offense!

From these bubbles, I have a feeling it will be Morris taking the snaps during game one.  Harbaugh was faced with a similar proposition in SF - the boom or bust, unknown quantity in Kaep or the steady vet in Smith.  He went for the former.  Hard to see it not happening again here.

I think it depends on other things, maybe if he's confident in the running game, (a breakout RB emerges), as well as confident in the defense, I think he'll go more game manager, someone who can make quick reads, hit open receivers, and most importantly NOT turn it over...to me, that would be Rudock...
